2nd Review: I brought a group of friends here for lunch. 3 of guys all tried a different German beer. We all tasted each other's beers & chose our favorite. The lady got talked into trying the Frozen Vodka. That set the tone for a wonderful long lunch with much laughter & excellent food. My return trips will be more frequent. I had to try the Frozen Vodka & ordered the Lychee flavor. We ordered Garlic Mushrooms & Calamari for appetizers. I ordered German sausage with sauerkraut & mashed potatoes & my friend ordered the Green Chicken Curry. Everything was wonderful! I dared not have a 2nd frozen Vodka or I would not have been able to drive home, ;) For dessert we split a mango Ice Cream Cake. Ambience is nice: a quiet and comfy al fresco dining place ideal for friends, family, or couples. Feels as if you're dining at home, with lots of greenery. You won't feel like you're in the middle of the city. Food is legit German cuisine, made by its German owner. Tastes great and has plenty of serving, which makes it worth the price. The schnitzel, 3 types of sausages, meatballs are really good, just the right amount of spiciness. And I loved the mashed potatoes, which is so fluffy and creamy. It was Sunday evening. Business was slow. I ordered the "regular" hamburger. I'm American and really appreciate a great hamburger. The owner, an attentive polite German gentleman suggested the hamburger and a wheat beer. These mated very well. The hamburger was equal to or better than the best back yard hamburgers I've had in the states. Lettuce, tomatos, onions, cucumbers, mayo, ketchup and German mustard. If you pick this up and eat it with your hands you will enjoy the "full emersion" effects if this "Best in Palawan" delight.
