BeerUp TapRoom — Restaurant in Puerto Princesa

told my boyfriend to go here because i saw this on google.. im very curious and it looks nice so i made sure to put it on our itinerary. so far, when we got there.. we were welcomed warmly. the staffs were friendly and helpful they gave suggestions on what we should get. but when we had the beers it wasnt anything grand. maybe im more of a cocktail girl so i cant appreciate that. but the ambiance and the staffs made the experience better. we didnt order anymore beer because it didnt fit our taste. so we left. we were charged a surcharged fee i okeyed that but even in elnido no one charged us that. when i got back to manila.. they messaged me telling me na why did i leave a negative feedback etc etc.. and i told them i didnt. they were coming at me like i did.. when i told them na it wasnt me they deleted the message.. NO APOLOGIES FOR COMING AT ME.. DELETED SOME OF THE MESSAGE TO COVER UP WHATEVER THEY MESSAGED ME.. when is it okey to accuse someone of doing something then brush it off as if its nothing. this experience made me so anxious to be honest. if you dont want drama.. DO NOT GO HERE. i think everyone is entitled to have their own opinion and feedback. so these people they attack those who doesnt have the same values as them. we were paying customers.. personally i had an okey time. i enjoyed the service pero AFTER SALE SUCKS BIG TIME.. IMAGINE WE WENT THERE DAYS AGO.. AND THEY MANAGE TO MESSAGE ME COUPLE OF DAYS AFTER.. they even stalked my fb and told me na they saw on my post that i had a good time. how shallow is that..its very immature and childish to be honest.. if you dont like a feedback.. move on and do better. dont attack ur...

seriously good food, great beer, lovely staff, what's not to like. We had just arrived in PP and our hotel was a 5 min walk away, so glad we dropped in, the food was absolutely delicious, and the beers they have on tap or in the bottles were all excellent.

Not sure if all the beers are Philippines brewed (think they are but not 100% sure), although the Boodmo beer's certainly are, as having sampled the Dry Irish Stout here, we visited Mama Odessa's in El Nido (that's where the Boodmo brewery is). Not sure if they also serve Ayahay Craft Beers by Palaweño Brewery (it's about a mile away on the same road), as their HUNTER beer is amazing!

They staff are lovely, the atmosphere's great, the food and drink are excellent, stop reading...

Maybe I’m wrong, but it feels like this place is struggling. Craft beer doesn’t seem to have a big market in Puerto, and when we visited on a Saturday night around 10 pm, the bar was completely empty.

Even more ironic, given the name of the place, there were no beers on tap available. They do have a good selection of craft beers in cans and bottles, but an empty bar just doesn’t have much atmosphere.
