Jeamco Royal Hotel — Hotel in Puerto Princesa

My family and I visited puerto princesa and book a 3nights stay in this hotel. We choose this hotel since it is near the town proper and malls the room was nice and spacious. Our room is located at the very last floor. My mom bought a lot of stuff and groceries since our home is very far away from the city. We bought some supplies for our restaurant and home. However, We are tired of bringing our things up and down from the hotel since we are about to check out that day so we decide to ask the front office staff to keep it there on thier office so we could just pick it up when we checkout. After that we went back to our room and pack our staff after that we had to check out. Upon checking out my mom ask the front office lady to get our staff that we ask them to keep for a while HOWEVER THE FRONT OFFICE STUFF SAID THAT IT IS GONE. !!!! Someone took our belongings without our knowledge. The lady said that someone took it and said that its on our room. We ask for the manager but the manager said that it is not their resposibility,, the fact that we ask the F.O to keep it for a while, they shoudn't accept it if they will not take care of it!!!! This incident is very bad exerperience from Us. The front office personel should have prevent this from happening if they had double check the person who took our belongings. Just wanted to bring to attention the BedBug infestation that this hotel has as of recently, I've been staying at this hotel since it was first open, even my whole family has stay at this hotel, but the bad experience that I went thru on my last stay, I will be hard pressed to stay here again, the reason is not because of the bedbug infestation, but because the assistance manager did not care or had any compassion regarding my experience when I brought it to her attention, she actually was bother that I did brought it to her attention, her response was that if I did not like it, to find another hotel to stay. After being loyal to this hotel for so many years, I think I was treated very unfairly. And for this reason me and my family and friends will never set foot on this hotel...

This hotel was great! The basic room is pretty small but we made it work for 2 of us. It was one of the comfiest beds we have slept on since being in the Philippines. Amazing pillows, mattress and actually had a nice blanket (not a sheet) which is a luxury here it seems. 😊 The staff was friendly and there was always a security guard at the door so we felt very safe. This hotel is in a busy location but it’s perfect and close to everything! The lighting in the room was white and bright. I think if the hotel switched then to warmer lights it would feel a lot more homie ❤️ There is no kettle but there is a hot and cold water jug in the halls which is a huge bonus!!
