Teriyaki Boy — Restaurant in Quezon City

I am very sad that this branch seems to be the only Teriyaki Boy left. Spent a chunk of my childhood eating here with my family and a few times with my then girlfriend now soon to be wife.

Food has stayed the same enough to bring about ample nostalgia. Still satisfied. Still wishing I can bring my wife and my family here again for some delicious tempura tuna tartare.

Miss the ramen bowls, miss the other staples my family and I used to love.

Teriyaki Boy once had decent Japanese food. However, times have changed, and so has Teriyaki Boy.

The decline in quality is evident, particularly with their teriyaki chicken, which is just overly sweet chicken drenched in sugar lacking any complexity.

There are a plethora of Japanese restaurants offering far superior food and, while nostalgia may still draw some to its doors, I would recommend you go elsewhere for more authentic...
