The only nice thing is the view that you can’t really enjoy as they are too many misquotes. It says on the website that we have a free shuttle. We arrive at the bus terminal and they suggest us to take a tricycle to go to the restaurant situated in the town. Then the guy wanted to drop us to our hotel with a “moto” we said no as I don’t understand how we would have done with no helmet and 3 people without helmet. You can’t paid by credit card either not on the website (Agoda). The restaurant is down the town and not here at the « hotel » (you have to check in at the restaurant, we didn’t know until we arrived in the room then have to go back down the town). FYI to reach the city you have to cross 4 bridges, a beach and « 100 » stairs and you will need a light as it’s really dark. Nothing to have a coffee before to go to the town. No kettle. Shower doesn’t have pressure so hard to wash your hair or you have to be on your knee to get a bit of pressure (still no enough), no hot water and no flash for the toilet (you have to fill up a bucket to clear the toilet) no toilet sit either. Also on the website is says closet, the room is actually empty of furniture except 2 bedside tables not even a bin for your trash. No amenities so bring your own soap and shampoo. We never get the wifi password and we realised two days after that a fridge is available for everyone. I can’t say the staff is nice or not as we just saw a guy with limited English 5 min to give us the keys. I would definitely not recommend the place. We took this place thinking that we will have the minimum (as show on the website). After talking with many people in town we realised that everyone had much better accomodation for way less money. The restaurant was the worst, we arrived at 8pm a young laddie refused to serve us saying that the kitchen was close. We came back in the morning 9am she refused again pretending that she was alone. We finally insisted and get served but this was a really bad idea as we get sick the...

Away from the beach front at PB but close enough for a short walk.|Only downside for those with mobility issues are about 30 steps up to the property.|But when you get up there it's so worth it. You get a stunning view over PB beach and the bay, especially at sunset.|The accomodation was lovely too. We had a cottage at the furthest end from the entrance with a lovely covered seating area, with plants and flowers and trees around, adding to the idyllic setting.|The main room has a double bed with a fan and off this is a small shower room and a small, but perfectly formed kitchen. |No A/C, but with windows and mosquito nets covering the windows in the main room , just let the cool breeze flow through and you won't need A/C.|Walter, the owner was there some of the time and was a really nice guy. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Good to sit and have a chat with.|Wish we had more time to just relax there, 3 days...
Read moreWe booked the place 4 days in advance via Airbnb for 5 nights. The booking was confirmed and paid. The owner contacted us about pickup point and promised to transfer to the bungalows. When we arrived to Port Barton the owner told us that our bungalow is occupied and she can only offer us a room in the city for that day. The room was poor and was 20$ per day cheaper than the price i paid for bungalow. The owner refused to compensate the difference or give us a chargeback for the day, saying that the price on Airbnb was cheaper than "they usualy ask". The owner put the guilt on Airbnb and though she knew 4 days in advance that the bungalow was unavailable she did not inform us. Very and very disrespectful behavior.
Think twice before...
