A Heartwarming Feast at Lola Sisa Grill and Kambingan – A Taste of Home in Pampanga
Our recent visit to Lola Sisa Grill and Kambingan in Pampanga turned out to be one of the most memorable family meals we’ve had in a long time. We dined as a big group — my wife, our daughter, my parents, my brother, and his girlfriend — and everyone left full, happy, and impressed with both the food and the service.
The moment we arrived, we were welcomed with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The place has a classic Filipino charm — simple, cozy, and perfect for family gatherings. Despite coming as a big group, we were comfortably seated and well-attended to, which really set the tone for a great dining experience.
Now the food — absolutely exceptional. If you’re looking for authentic Filipino flavors that bring you back to your roots, Lola Sisa Grill and Kambingan delivers on all fronts. We ordered a variety of dishes, but the star of the table was definitely their kambing specialties. The kalderetang kambing and sizzling kambing were perfectly cooked — tender, flavorful, and rich without being overwhelming. Even those in our group who weren’t usually fans of goat meat ended up enjoying it.
We also tried their grilled dishes and classic Filipino favorites like sinigang, crispy pata, and inihaw na liempo. Everything was delicious, served hot and fresh. The portions were generous, perfect for sharing, and the prices were very reasonable considering the quality and quantity of food.
What made the experience even better was the genuine hospitality of the staff. They were attentive, accommodating, and always served with a smile. It felt like being welcomed into someone’s home — and that’s something we truly appreciated.
Our 3-year-old daughter was also very comfortable and happy throughout the meal. That’s not always easy with little kids, but the casual, homey environment made her feel at ease. It was clear that this is the kind of place where families come to relax and enjoy each other’s company over great food.
Lola Sisa Grill and Kambingan is more than just a restaurant — it’s a place that brings people together. It reminded us of traditional family meals growing up, filled with laughter, stories, and hearty food. We’ll definitely be back and will be recommending it to friends and relatives who visit Pampanga.

Read moreHad their papaitan and hito to-go because we were in a hurry to get home. The food quality makes up for the higher price than nearby restos. Second time we dined-in Al fresco. Beware of falling leaves/branches if you do. We had sizzling sisig and kalderetang bibe, both delicious and spicy. Wish they had larger portions of rice for families but I guess that's not really their target market.
