Isla De Paz is definitely one of the best resorts in Siquijor Island. The rooms are very spacious and clean (they smell good too). The bed is extremely soft! I felt asleep right away (no kidding). Toilet is also very spacious. It had a bidet, and a heated shower. Water pressure is good.
The resort also has access to the beach, which also has a very good view of the Sunset (as it is the same side as Paliton beach).
The neighborhood is quiet, and very accessible. There are enough parking spaces for motorcycles, and some slots for cars.
The staff is very friendly, especially the Owner (Cheryl). She is very accommodating, and you know that she really loves what she does.
She even let us leave our things for the afternoon, and even kept our towels so that we can wash up (using their covered public shower, which also has a heater) before our evening boat ride back to dumaguete. All that for no additional fee.
There’s also a convenient snack bar beside the beach chairs so you can have a drink while watching the sunset. Your little ones can also use the little play-set in their garden.

Read moreWe stayed 5 nights and we loved this place so much! 🙂 The hosts Cheryl and Noel were by far the friendliest people we have met so far on the Philippines. The service staff girls and Jimmy the guy for the maintainance had always a smile on their faces and greeted friendly.
The Resort itself is not too big and nobody will bother you in any way. You can either snorkel your way directly to the Tubod Marine Sanctuary or you just stay and relax at the resort on the beach in either a hammock or the comfortable beach hut. You can get cold drinks - just ask for it. Food and especilly breakfast options are nearby and you can go there easily by foot. If you choose Siquior as a destination to relax a little and maybe to snorkel a bit - just choose Isla de Paz and thank...
