We visited around 7:30am on saturday. We ordered 1 smash it up, 2 golden hash, 1 no rush but hash, 1 breakfast wrap, 3 french press coffee and 2 iced coffee. We were a group of 5. What I like about El Flamenco: 1) they open at 8am but they were kind enough to take our orders even it was still 7:30am. 2) calm, simple and chill environment 3) conveniently located along the road 4) simple yet creative dishes. Lots of available breakfast option but not overwhelming. 5) the staff was attentive and welcoming. What i dont like/can be improved by el flamenco: 1) the coffee was a bit watery for us. Would suggest to add more coffee ground on their press. 90 pesos for the quality of their coffee french press is a bit overpriced, reasonable price should be 60-70 pesos. 2) food taste were Ok but we cant agree if the prices justify the serving size or not. 3) more coffee options please :) 4) everything was OK but nothing special or something that would remind me of my visit. Overall, el flamenco is still worth a try.

I recently visited El Flamenco in Siquijor, and here's my take: **The Classic Panini**: The bread was perfectly toasted, and the flavors came together really well. A solid choice for a quick bite. **No Rush but Hash Brekki Meal**: I really enjoyed this one too. It had a good balance of flavors, and was filling without being overly heavy. A great way to start the day. **Coco Kiss Waffles**: Unfortunately, I wasn’t a fan of these. The texture didn’t quite hit the mark for me. I prefer my waffles crispy on the outside and soft or chewy on the inside, but these didn’t deliver that contrast. **Service**: The service was excellent—attentive, friendly, and welcoming. It definitely added to the overall positive experience. Overall, a great spot with good food and outstanding service!

The vegetarian tacos were very very very good. Not mexican, but really enjoyable. Beer is cold and this is still kind of special on this island. 😉 We had to wait quite a long time for starter, main course and the 'margeritas'. Take your time and maybe bring something like a card game... It's not fast food. At the first time, we did not get what we originally ordered. Probably because the waiter has to improve his english a little more. The second time we were there everything was on point. By the way: On taco-tuesday you get a magherita on top of every taco you order. 😍 Go on guys - you are doing well. A little more routine and your restaurant will be great! 🙂

Disclaimer: I am not 1 to leave a bad review, however, my friend & I came here for brunch after seeing a poster claiming to be the “best brunch in siqijour” we both ordered hash browns with tomato, smashed avo & poached egg & it took about 35 minutes to come out, but despite being the same meal, mine came about 10 minutes after & my friend had already finished hers. The tomato was about 2 slithers of the tinniest unripe tomato, the avocado was brown & stringy & my egg was so undercooked that the entire white was snotty & the same consistency of the yolk. Portion size for price was actually so small as well & I’m not just comparing our meal as there were also other diners in there. & half of the menu was unavailable. Despite the above bad comments, credits where it’s due, the hash browns were delicious.

Edit: in response to the comment from the restaurant, we certainly did not return to eat here, this is false...

Saw the good reviews so decided to come here. Got a tuna melt, veggie breakfast melt and 2 french press coffees. Server was friendly however the food was so disappointing. The bread was hardly toasted, no melted cheese on the tuna melt and it was so soggy the tuna had not been drained properly, and both absolutely covered in “ranch” mayo. I don’t usually waste food but I left almost half of mine uneaten. It’s hard to mess up something so simple but that was definitely messed up…the coffee also tasted like old burnt coffee grounds. Also taking a look into the kitchen when I went up to pay, it was filthy, rotten lettuce and avocado just lying on the counter where food is being prepared. I don’t like leaving a harsh review like this because she seems friendly but definitely worth hiring more staff to help and improve cleanliness...
