Hotel Fado — Hotel in Świdnica

This fine centrally-located boutique hotel provided an oasis of quiet and comfort during our brief trip to Poland. The staff was courteous and helpful, and the 3rd floor room we stayed in was fairly sized with a comfy bed and a nicely appointed bathroom. The premises were clean and well-maintained, and the private parking lot provided a level of security for our rented vehicle. To top it off, the smorgasbord breakfast served each morning was more than satisfying and featured delicious freshly home-baked breads, while the afternoon meal we had at the restaurant downstairs offered a number of authentic Portuguese dishes prepared by an knowledgeable chef, and with a refined palate in mind. My family were trying to find somewhere nice to eat in this town and everywhere was full. So we happened to go here by chance. It was empty. Never a good sign usually. They had a lovely menu and pizza so we said we would stay and we were totally blown away by the professionalism of the serviceand the quality of the food 🍕. I had the tartar to start and it was delicious. My partner had the filet mignon and it too was devine. I had the pork tenderloin and this also was so so well done we were in shock.
