This is a little bit further away than some of the other accommodation in Bydgoszcz but by no means too far, just a few extra blocks. The picture of it on most websites is a bit deceptive it is literally up a wee lane just of one of the main streets and not out in the sticks. The hotel itself is clean and nice with interesting decor. Very modern and good value the room was spacious and had satellite tv and free wifi, it has a club under it which was totally quiet on the night we stayed and the staff were really helpful . Breakfast was a selection of cereal , yoghurts cold meats/breads and traditional polish food and they made us scrambled eggs with bacon through it , coffee made on request and fruit juices available . ||||I have to give this hotel a special mention though for their helpful reception desk , we had a bit of disaster on our trip and missed our Ryanair flight home meaning we had to find somewhere to stay late at night unexpectedly . Although Hotel Kuznia was full, the receptionist went out of her way to look up the internet and call some other places in Bygoszcz and found us a room and booked a taxi to take us there . This literally saved our bacon and was above and beyond the call of duty . I would recommend this place to...
Read morefor a 'central' hotel, the first thing i noticed was how peaceful/rural,the absence of noise, the place was situated.down a turning ,off the upper end of the main street,it proved a10/15 minute stroll into town.shops on either side, leading to the refurbished 'stary rynek',via the island in the river.i really liked it.pity i was robbed on day two, waking up in hospital.the hotel staff, who were friendly, efficient and professional at all times, came into their own, providing me with all the info i needed to sort out my situation.i thank them for this.my room was spacious, well appointed and perfect for my tourist needs.the bar/barmen very friendly, although the decor is eclectic/unusual ,it made for a relaxing 'local' where i was glad to round off my nights.other guests seemed to stay only 1night but i would recommend this for a long weekend type visit, due to its location and...
Read moreThis was my first visit to Poland and the hotel was ideally located set just off the main street and so very quiet. Even though the hotel has a club and disco, we were not disturbed by any noise. Our rooms were clean, tidy and in very good order. The shower room was also very clean. Comfortable bed. Hotel staff very polite, pleasant, and very helpful with some offering advice on local areas to visit including our visit to Toruń. Breakfast was aleays fresh with plenty of choice. Very relaxed atmosphere in the hotel. ||||Only thing I would have preferred was to have a kettle and tea making facilitied in the room. Despite the Kuznia having four wifi accounts...all of which are available in the downstairs, now are available in rooms 105 and 106 at least. ||||I will certainly be visiting the...
