Rooms are nice, location is great. Just a 10 min walk to the old town. There are a lot of construction sites all over the place. Whole Poznan is being renovated kind of. Sauna can be reserved for you to enjoy on your own. It has a cold pool which was cool. I didn’t like the smell in the room when I arrived. I asked for another room the next day, same old smell, like old towels that didn’t dry well, or some liquid they use to clean the floors that smell like old clothes. I checked a third room, same again. So it must be something they use there which is so totally not nice.

Very central hotel with great service. The fact that it's situated in a 100-year-old building just adds to the experience. Rooms very clean and having everything I needed for my stay (the only thing lacking, which usually is completely normal in the hotels of this standard was a complimentary bottle of water). As I've mentioned the location is great - walking distance to the main train station and World Trade Center, as well as to the Old Town Square and many shopping malls in the area.

Room was dirty, service was ok that, guy at the reception was understanding but this is definitely not a 4 star hotel at all. All of the corridor and the room smells like cigarette even though it is non-smoke area and who ever cleaned the room didn’t do a good job. Bath tub and toilet area was dirty and had mold everywhere as you can see in the attached pictures. Additionally we wanted to leave and get refund but they’re not able to do it at the moment so not sure what is coming next…

Arrived here for a week-long stay for a conference. All ok at the start apart from the size of the room - small - which was also showing its age (which is true for the whole hotel actually). First night was fine, air conditioning running fine and the room was nice and cool. Night 2 was also fine and I noticed the hotel was very quiet. Change on night 3 as the hotel filled up with a lot of customers. Now keep in mind it was 32 degrees during the day and very warm at night, I got back to my room and the AC was barely producing any cool air whatsoever, maybe a breath of cooling at best. I phoned reception and ended up getting moved to another room after being told that the AC was "old" and that I might have to play around with the controls to get it to cool down.... it beggars belief. Room 2 was the same, room 3 was the same, and eventually I just gave up moving rooms and slept in room 4 which was, you guessed it, exactly the same. In fact I ended up soaking a towel in cold water and sleeping under that to even have a chance of keeping cool. I'd have been better off sleeping in the corridor which was noticeably cooler! During the night I phoned my travel team and got moved to another hotel because NH Poznan couldn't provide the service we were paying for and I'd been moved to multiple rooms, clearly not solving the problem. They refuse to refund the remainder of the stay which is just disgusting given that they don't provide the product. Do yourself a favour, stay at the Novotel or Mercure - Accor group - and you'll have a much more comfortable stay in Poznan, be better located (particularly for Novotel beside the old brewery shopping centre, and very close to tram line), and a much(!) better breakfast included. Price is similar, if only I'd noticed!!! I wouldn't normally leave such a scathing review but am very frustrated because at £80 per night I expect at least the AC to work! I also expect mirrors not to be broken, the hotel kept up to good standard. NH Poznan simply flatters to deceive.

The hotel has now replied to my review to say that I mentioned that I'd leave earlier due to personal reasons - this is a total lie, there was no discussion on the matter beyond moving rooms with the duty manager during the night and that was solely focussed on air conditioning, or lack thereof! I moved to the Novotel, a hotel that does have functional air conditioning. I checked out of the hotel by handing my room card to reception. Nobody asked me why I was leaving at that point and there was absolutely no discussion beyond me leaving my bag at reception until I would collect it at lunchtime to move to the other hotel. This is the most shocking response I never expected(!) and I'll be passing on this response to our travel partners and legal dept to see if we can recover the money they have refused to refund due to non provision of service advertised. This is just outrageous to blame it on me! I attended the rest of my conference in Poznan and left on the Saturday morning, checking out much earlier in the week. I wonder what personal reasons made me check out but still stay in the city and attend the conference. If anyone reading this has any sense they will give NH Poznan the wide berth it requires. I've had it removed as an option for travellers from my university so no more business from us for sure. Utterly shocking response and at no point did I express satisfaction with my stay in any way whatsoever.

UPDATE: After complaining to NH group direct we got the refund for days not used. Far too much effort, but the right outcome in the end. If only there was a zero...

the initial room I was placed in had a view to some noisy generator, considering the fact that the hotel was half empty. After the request, a very pleasant lady receptionist offered me two rooms to choice. I picked one and it was great - spacious, silent, clean, with comfy matress. The second reason why I picked this hotel apart of location was sauna. When I booked sauna 1,5 hours before, it turned out that finn one was not hot at all (50 degrees instead of 90-100), in roman sauna it was not hot as well and had a smell of chlor, everywhere was super bright light that could not be turned off, considering the fact that in sauna people should bathe naked. But the most frustrating thing about the sauna was that little pool, which made so much noise (due to water circulation) that made it impossible to relax. After some time I went to reception to ask to turn the pool off, and men there told me that it i not possible, since it is automatical, then I asked to make sauna hotter, he also said that everything is automatical or maybe it is broken and he doesn't know. I think you can agree, that this is not the experience and service I expected from hotel of such level, hoping to relax in sauna, which is definitely was included in the price.

So if you're going only for the room in the city center - this is a very good choice. The room was clean, big, with bath upon request, had kettle and coffee. Spacious bed and thick curtains, which led to...

I stayed from March 2024 to July 2024 as is with my job with requires me to stay several months in different cities and I prefer hotels above apartments||Pros|-Excellent location|-Good restaurant|-Super Friendly and Helpful staff|-I was given a room of my choice with large balcony at regular price for over 4 months|- super cheap and fast laundry|- everyday complimentary water and room cleaning|- fresh linen twice a week|- location once again a plus, sit outside for a morning coffee or a wine on a lazy evening or walk to the city centre it’s the best||Cons|-Parking is far away, although I switched to uber in one month from rental self drive car and it picks and drops directly in front|- may the worlds worst WiFi. I have stayed in several hundreds of hotels and nothing compares to this WiFi |- 4 months everyday there was same breakfast|- restaurant although good, limited food options|- spa was hard to book and almost never possible to book in your time preferences |- sauna halftime was not working||Alternative |- Altus but this has no laundry and no outside seating almost no parking|- Park Inn good location great parking but location for NH is still better|- Hampton great location with no parking...
