I really want to give this 5 stars, because it's clear a lot of effort went into creating this museum. The museum is small to mid-sized and 45 to 100 minutes are probably sufficient to get a good idea about what happened during those days in 1956; the only reason I have to give it 4 stars is because there is no clear route once you're inside. Also, there's a short documentary in Polish with English subtitles, but the subtitles cannot be read properly because of the sign language translator positioned over 25% of the subtitles. I know it seems like a small inconvenience and it's good they have a sign language translator there, but a little more care should be given to the subtitles. That's all. I wouldn't avoid it tho. Read moreGood museum, however can be difficult to locate- you need to go around the corner from the main stairs into the Imperial Castle and through a small door, then down some stairs and inside there is a manned ticket desk.
The museum is small but full of information about the events in Poznan during 1956, however if your command of the Polish language is not proficient you miss out on a lot of the information as it is not translated into English.

The museum is very visual, with a lot of photos, newspaper articles and banners - which to be fair would be hard to translate that but the remaining text that is translated leaves a nice bit to be filled in.
