We booked three nights at the hotel, but unfortunately, it was quite noisy due to construction work. Additionally, there was no air conditioning, and the room didn’t look very clean. The bathroom was just an uncomfortable wet room, and overall, we didn’t feel comfortable at all.
Now, regarding the service: Since we booked through Booking.com, the reception referred us back to them when we wanted to cancel our stay on-site. In the end, everything worked out, but I’m pretty sure they tried to scam us. Booking.com had sent an email to the hotel regarding our cancellation request. At the reception, there was probably a new employee who then referred us to someone else (possibly a shift manager?). This person initially claimed that no email had arrived—until the "new" employee looked at the screen and pointed it out to him, like, "There it is."
Before this, I had called Booking.com, and they told me that the hotel had 30 minutes to respond to their request. However, Booking.com couldn't reach the hotel by phone. The "shift manager" insisted that they supposedly had 24 hours to respond, until the new employee showed him that the email actually stated 30 minutes.
According to Booking.com, some hotels falsely claim that a booking has been canceled without actually sending a confirmation email to the guest. This means that, later on, you wouldn’t get your money back. That’s why we were advised to wait for the confirmation email and insist on it. I’m quite sure the shift manager tried to use this trick. Thankfully, there are also honest employees—one of them was named Kasper. Unfortunately, I don’t remember the shift manager’s name.
This all happened on March 7, 2025. Luckily, thanks to Kasper, everything worked out, and we were able to find a new hotel. We will never book...
Read moreWe recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately, our experience fell far short of expectations. The room was simply not equipped for a comfortable stay. The bathroom was very small, and lacked a basic necessity – a toilet brush. This was not only inconvenient but also concerning from a hygiene standpoint.
Perhaps the most significant issue was the extreme heat in the room. Unfortunately, the mattress was broken, and we found bugs in the room, further impacting our comfort. Even more concerning, the window wouldn't open completely, and with no air conditioning, the room became unbearably hot. This was especially difficult for our 4-year-old daughter.
When we raised these concerns with the staff, unfortunately, no solution was offered. Outside was raining and the temperature dropped 10°. It was the perfect moment to have some fresh air. Their answer was no. No, the windows are closed for safety reasons and they have no solution for this. In my opinion, if you are not leaving me to open that window, you should have an alternative, air condition, or something else. This is just not ok.
We were very disappointed with the lack of attention to these basic needs for a comfortable stay.
Overall, we cannot recommend this hotel to others, especially those traveling with young children. The lack of essential amenities and inability to address the heat issue made our...
Read moreThe hotel is very well situated. You have the tram and the train next to the hotel, you won't spend much time finding the hotel, we see it from the railway station. That's really practical.
If you just want to sleep and that's all (you also have the wifi), that's a cool hotel.
If you expect comfort and a beautiful place to sleep at, run away. As others say, the bathroom is in plastic, the rooms are very small, the cleanliness standards are low (I had dust everywhere in my room, the floor was not clean). They put you into a 3 bed-room even if you are alone or only two. The breakfast is ok, but do not expect quality. If you just want a warm drink, yoghurt and an apple, you will have everything you need. If you want something else, beware that the quality is not met at all. The breakfast room is not really nice either and really crowded, so if you like to have a peaceful beautiful spot to have your breakfast, that's not the place at all. Many young people are there for partying during the weekend, so yes, be aware of that.
Do not be rude with the staff. The staff is really friendly and cannot be held responsible for the standards of the hotel. They only do their job as they can, they probably have little time to make their job and according to what I have seen, they do a remarkable job and are...
