Respectful warm caring staff and owner taught me how to make traditional tomato jam in its kitchen. Very central location - glad of my choice, via tripadvisor reviews. Extremely clean airy bright cool spacious room and washrooms, wiped down several times a day, handsoap, handtowels and toilet rolls replenished regularly. Love the floor to ceiling windows and doors - every room has one facing courtyard or ourtside. Quiet neighbourhood yet not too far from tourist sites, restaurants and shops. We had decided to go to Tevora spontaneously and prelonged are stay from 1 to 2 nights after we found this gem. The guests are a nice mix of long stay residents and tourists. As we caught Evora on a rainy day, it was nice to sit by the log fire and chat with the ever so friendly owner Margarida and her husband João in the living room. This charming little hotel is located in downtown Evora, making exploring the old town very easy. The rooms are nicely decorated and quaint, and the shared bathrooms are sparkling clean. The host is extremely warm and welcoming, and made us feel at home immediately. There can be some noise at night (the rooms are not perfectly insulated), but nothing too disturbing.
