Quite disappointing for a rated 4* hotel, which is more of a 3 at most. Hotel is on a very very steep hill, so infirm be aware and also if you don’t want to walk to the town which is an approx 10min HIKE!. While the hotel staff were polite and welcoming, the facilities, services, and general quality of the accommodation were wholly inadequate. The issues we encountered included:||Mis-sold upgraded sea view: We paid extra for an upgraded sea view, but the view was almost entirely obstructed by a large tree (see attached photo). The balcony was extremely small—around 1m²—making it effectively unusable.||Lack of basic amenities: No tea or coffee facilities were provided, and we were told we would need to rent a kettle at an additional charge. This is unacceptable for a hotel advertised as 4.||Broken facilities: The hairdryer did not work at all (I have a video of this. On one of the days, there was no hot water for several hours, causing significant inconvenience.||Poor breakfast quality: Breakfast was of very low standard, both in variety and quality, not reflecting what should be expected from a hotel of this rating.||No fresh towels provided: At no point during our four-night stay were fresh towels offered or delivered. This was inconvenient and raised genuine hygiene concerns, as guests should reasonably expect clean towels daily in a 4 hotel.||Overpriced and unrealistic spa & gym facilities: The spa and gym, which were promoted as part of the hotel, were completely additional and charged at unrealistic prices. This created the impression of more facilities than were genuinely available.||Noise disturbance: Early morning drilling by workmen disturbed our sleep on multiple mornings, with no prior warning to guests.||Inconvenience and discomfort: Only one room key card was issued, and the bed was extremely hard and...

Firstly, this is more like a 3-star hotel than a 4-star. The rooms do appear a little dated (such as showers attached to the bathroom taps), but they more than do the job.

Positives

Pool is never overly busy, so can always get sunbeds (without the need to "reserve" them early). Staff on the whole are super friendly and helpful. Bar prices are very reasonable (especially considering its a hotel). The views from the bar roof-top terrace are great. Location - easy (downward walk) into the Old Town Square, and close access to the marina too. There's so many little alcoves and rooms for you to relax in if you wanted to.

Negatives

Breakfast! You have to pre-order what you want tomorrow, whilst having your breakfast the day before. The options are extremely limited. It would be far better to have a buffet-style option than being waitered on too. The pool is cold! It takes a while to acclimatise. Too many "can't do's"! You have to book a slot for the gym (with limited opening times). The indoor pool appears to never be accessible. The bar only opens in the evenings. No tea/coffee making facilities.....unless you want to hire a kettle. Location - whilst I saw it as a positive, less able-bodies people may struggle as is a very hilly walk to/from the town/beach.

What could be improved

Breakfast - waitering whilst great is slow and the food options to rigid. Offer more support and guidance in terms of trips, local buses etc. Don't make people walk through the restaurant to get to the pool before 10am - not great for diners. Have the gym/indoor pool more readily available. Provide tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms.

Overall, it's a decent hotel, and the location worked well for me. If they made some improvements and were more flexible with their approach, then this could be a lot better. I would stay here...

Nice hotel for a family stay. Easy to get to old town and the beach. Theres a longer way walking past shops and Solgama (nice restaurant to visit) or down a steep slope cuts down to the elevator by the beach.|Either way for us we just walked easily but you could uber.||We brang a travel kettle with us so didnt pay the charge and got coffee from the mini market.||We also brang swimming caps tor the indoor pool but used the outdoor pool instead twice. |We brang our own beach towels.|We preferred going to the beach then staying at hotel. ||Theres a nice reading room with chess boards by the swimming pool to relax in as well. ||Room was clean and beds were made daily. Air con worked well in the room. TV with 5 English channels. Small hairdryer in bathroom. Shower was nice.|Only thing is bath towels were a bit small and not that fluffy.||Had a nice small balcony to enjoy a morning coffee on with a sea/beach view on 2nd floor.||Mini fridge for milk/water etc and they give you a small bottle of water for free at the start (theres a mini market less than 5 mins away to buy big bottles of water from).|Bar had nice pina coladas which were reasonable price.||Breakfast was nice and you ticked what you wanted on a sheet when you sat down. Coffee was nice and they did soya milk. Was nice to have breakfast by the pool.||Pool opened late 10am-7pm but theres a big one and a smaller one at the back.||Check out was 12 which was good and late compared to UK standards.||All the staff were friendly and nice.||We had a nice time. I...

We stayed one week in this hotel, booked via Tui with breakfast and dinner included. This was in June 2018. Our room was in the "tower", room 301. We enjoyed our stay: - Friendly staff in general. - Clean rooms and good cleaning. - Beach and city centre nearby, just a few minutes by foot. - There are elevators, but our room wasn't reachable by them. Last floor -> stairs. No problem for us. - WiFi signal was terrible in our room, near the reception or pool it was perfect. Didn't use it much. - Great food. But basically the same every day. If you stay here longer than one week it might get boring. Drinks where not included but they where reasonably priced. - Safe rent is 1.50 per day and can fit a DSLR camera. - The hallways are very noisy. You can hear everything like loud conversation or slamming doors in your room, even through the staircase from the lower floor. They should do something to demp the noise, like carpet or something. - The fridge in the room is in a closed cabinet without ventilation, and it could get very warm in the cabinet. We always had the door opened so the fridge worked better. All together a good experience.

Nice and cosy place! I stayed here for 5 nights with my family, and it was a very simple place to stay at. Kettle, safe, iron had to paid extra for but it was very cheap so not a problem at all! Pros - Very cultural, statues, little art here and there, simple - Nice big pool and sun beds everywhere - Only ten minute walk from old town - Nice pastries in the morning - Rooms very clean - Gym is very useful (has the basic equipment+fans) - Staff are all so friendly and kind! They made the whole experience staying here so nice and welcoming! Cons - same breakfast choice every morning, I’m grateful for the food but it would be nice with 2/3 different/new things everyday not the same list 🙄 - I am so disappointed to say but its so loud!! Especially from the next door rooms🙉 I had to sleep with earphones because I kept waking up to next door noises or from hallway. All in all, I would only come back here if it was the last choice but I really enjoyed it here and liked everything except for the two things mentioned. ⭐️3.5 stars from me⭐️
