The hostel itself is okay, it’s clean and has all the necessities, nice fridge, small kitchen but fonctionnal, water fountain so you can get cold water, washing mashing, the terrace looks bigger in the pictures but it’s ok I guess. Elaine, a member of the staff, was super sweet and welcoming to us, showed us our rooms and was very patient.||Now let’s talk about the downsides. ||First it’s not very safe, they are no security checking people coming in and no locks anywhere, especially for the showers. You have no where to put ur towel and clothes and everything is at the same level so if you put anything on the ground it’ll be wet, like I mentioned, no locks, people could just come in the bathroom and in your shower.||For the rooms, not very spacious, very loud bed frames, so when people go on the bunk bed you can hear creaking, light sensors that open in the middle of the night for no reason, and if you have the unluckiness to be in room 100, you will be shaking with the bass of the music since it’s so loud. They tell you to bring earplugs in the reviews, but even this is not enough. To finish the rooms, you have ants everywhere and in all your stuff.||When we try to explain ourselves at the owner she was already waiting for us in a defensive position and did not wanna hear our feedback and feelings, which is really unpleasant considering the price we paid. It wasn’t about a refund, but just to be heard, and she was very rude and didn’t want to do anything with us. It’s one in the most expensive hostels in Albufeira, yet we weren’t pleased with our stay and had to leave early.||Anyways, if you like to party, you will get party, but forget about a good...

Their dedication to keeping the place spotless, even with the beach just a short walk away, was commendable. While the free beach towel service was a pleasant surprise, a few minor improvements could enhance the overall experience. Adding locks to the showering area and providing hooks for hanging clothes would be beneficial for guests' convenience and privacy. Although the hostel's 4-sharing bunk room was generally comfortable, the occasional mosquito infestation was a bit of a nuisance. While the staff suggested using insect spray, it's worth noting that this might not be suitable for everyone, especially those sensitive to chemicals. The hostel's lively atmosphere, characterized by the bass-heavy music at night, might not be ideal for those seeking a quiet retreat. However, this is likely why it's called a "Musical Hostel." Overall, Musical Hostel Albufeira offers a vibrant and affordable accommodation option in Albufeira. With a few minor improvements, it could become even more...
