Helena's Family House — Hotel in Alijó

· I cannot begin to express how good Helena and her home were. The facilities are in perfect condition and cleaned to perfection. You have everything you need. Multiple bathrooms, lots of towels, a wonderful jacuzzi, a great kitchen to cook in, a pool table in perfect condition, an honors bar with an excellent selection of wine and soft drinks, balconies. The list goes on and on.

The breakfast Helena personally makes everyday is extraordinary. There is a very wide selection and more than enough food to carry you through lunch and provide an afternoon snack.

But the best thing about this rental is Helena herself. She is charming, kind and caring in a special way. Even though I am older than her, it felt like I had my grandmother taking care of me. Her daughter Daniela is also very charming. Spending time talking to Helena was the highlight of our trip.

I would recommend this worldclass rental to anyone. There is no way you could do better in Pinhao, Portugal or anywhere else in the world.

We had the most wonderful time at Helena’s! She is the most warm and welcoming woman, what a precious soul! ❤️❤️❤️The house was immaculate and truly gorgeous in every way. We had everything we needed and then some. They were super responsive and helped us out with all our questions. Breakfast was a dream. This was our first time to the area, and I would stay there again and again. We could walk everywhere we needed, little shops and winery tasting rooms, too. Our friend group stayed at Helena's and had a wonderful time! The location was stunning, with walkable access to town and great views of wine country. The home itself was beautiful, extremely clean, and had great amenities. We loved the pool table and hot tub. Our favorite part, however, was Helena herself! She made us incredible breakfasts each morning and we loved getting to visit with her. We would highly recommend staying here and we all hope to go...
