I have had the opportunity to travel to many countries in my lifetime, but none have captured my heart quite like Portugal. In particular, the hostel I stayed in during my travels there was an unforgettable experience that left a lasting impression on me. It was more than just a place to sleep; it was a place that stirred emotions I had long forgotten. The simplicity of the hostel was juxtaposed with its complexity, leaving me in awe of its beauty. Every aspect of the hostel was impeccable, from the cozy and comfortable rooms, to the lush and serene garden, to the open and inviting kitchen, and, of course, the warm and friendly people who made my stay there so special. If you're in need of a place to heal your soul, I highly recommend this hostel. The sunsets there are nothing short of breathtaking, and it feels as if time stands still in such a peaceful and tranquil setting. Marcelo, the owner, was always available to answer any questions and make my stay there as comfortable as possible. I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Marcelo and his staff for making my stay such a memorable one....
Read moreIt was a great two weeks at the hostel! A big thank you to Marcelo,Alba, Mathilda, Gabriel, Camila and Marcus. They made sure everything in the hostel was fine. They are one by one treasures. With them and other guests, I had many interesting conversations, enjoyed the beach and, above all, had a good laugh. The hostel is within walking distance from the beach which means you can quickly go out to the water and brave the waves with surfboard and wetsuit. Marcelo and Sophie's activities (yoga, etc.), for which you pay a little extra, are also an added bonus. Don't forget to go to the terrace in the evening. There you can watch the sun disappear into the Atlantic eventually with a fresh beer in your hand. I slept in a dorm and slept very well. When you have to work, you can sit in the living room, sometimes it was full, but I think that's exceptional. Only good vibes in this hostel!...
Read moreThis Hostel is sich a nice place! It looks really beautifull, everything is made in this natural looking style and the garden is full of beautifull plants, we could even eat fresh bananas from the tree in the garden and they were so awesome, not comparable to the ones from the supermarket. The others travellers I met there were super cool so it was easy to find friends. There are volunteers managing the hostel and also the owner Marcelo and all of them are super friendly and will always help you if you need something. You can also rent a surfboard and wetsuit there for a little bit cheaper than at a surf rental. Beach was 10 minutes walking. Not the most beautifull way to the beach but the beach itself is clean and there are almost every days good waves for learning to surf and often also for intermediate or good surfers. Really enjoyed my time, thank you...
