Casa de Hospedes Isaias — Hotel in Angra do Heroísmo

Isaías Costa is a busy man. He got started with a small hospedaria and a cafeteria a block away. Recently he built on a derelict piece of land opposite the old hospedaria 10 new apartments and behind the apartments a bungalow with four rooms. In August 2016, we rented his newest addition: a room with bathroom, originally part of a large garage for his rental cars, scooters and bikes. Using the kitchen, washing machine and dryer in the villa is included.||||Although Isaías uses Internet booking websites, we do not like to be charge for the fees these booking sites demands. By email we booked the room for two persons for €30 per night, breakfast not included. Next to the old hospedaria is Pastelaria O Furâo, open from 6am until 2am. A sandwich with cheese, coffee and juice just cost €2,60. Hospedaria Isaías is a short 5-minutes walk to Praça Velha, the city centre, and bus stops.||||The room has a small double bed and one single bed. The double bed slept well. For three persons the price is €40 per night. The room has excellent streaming Wi-Fi reception, television and a fan. La verdad, Goku no entiende la forma de viajar de algunas personas. No entiendo muy bien los comentarios negativos...(Adjunto vídeo en comentario, las camas no estaban echas porque ya nos íbamos y habíamos dormido) En primer lugar, el dueño te da la llave y te muestra la entrada, y la habitación, a parte de asesorarte sobre taxis y actividades de la isla, esto es de agradecer si vas sin coche y a la aventura. En segundo lugar, el espacio está impoluto, no he estado en ningún sitio tan limpio y cuidado como este, la cocina está impoluta al igual que sus utensilios, hay de todo, incluso la gente deja cosas como aceite, sal, especias cuando se va... nosotros dejamos cosas y nadie nos robó ni nos cogió nada, muy buen ambiente... el baño y las habitaciones limpísimas tambien. Es mejor el baño para ducharse el que está al lado de la cocina, más presión de agua y más espacioso. El baño de la parte de arriba correcto aunque la ducha un poco pequeña. Las habitaciones, las camas son un poco pequeñas pero cómodas, la habitación es inmensa, aire acondicionado, calefacción y televisión, la WiFi funciona bien. Nuestra habitación daba a una terraza ( en la que se puede fumar y estar tranquilamente). El bar de abajo (vinimos en Julio) está la gente del pueblo y te deja para llevar lo que quieras al hospedaje. Dormíamos en la habitación que daba justo al bar y no tuvimos ni ruido ni bullicio ni nada. Trato de 10 y recomendable al 100x100 incluso nos guardo las mochilas durante todo el día sin problema y sin precio adicional. La ubicación está al lado del puerto de Angra do Heroismo.Seamos más viajeros y menos turistas....

At the end of our trip we arrived in this hostel. At first we just planned to stay one night in Angra. However, Angra is really is the center of Terceira. Therefore, we decided to stay four days longer. When we arrived in Casa de Hospedes Isaias it immediately felt like a home. Therefore we did not hesitate to book this hostel for all remaining nights. Everything you need is there and the location is perfect. The hosts and Fatima are super nice!:) We really enjoyed the hostel so we recommend it to everybody.||Thanks! Cheers,...
