Beira Mar Restaurant Angra — Restaurant in Angra do Heroísmo

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Beira Mar restaurant in the Azores, and I must say, it was an incredible experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with exceptional service and kindness from the staff, particulary from Miguel. The speed of service was impressive, and the food was of the highest quality. The portions were generous, and the quality was superb.

Although the atmosphere was more of a casual seafood restaurant than a fine dining establishment, the space was still very pleasant and comfortable. One of the highlights of the restaurant was the beautiful view it provided. We were able to enjoy our meal with a stunning view of the sea.

Honestly, I cannot think of any negative aspects to this restaurant. If you are looking for delicious, high-quality seafood served in a comfortable and friendly environment, this is the place to go. I would highly recommend it to anyone...

1 star as you cannot give less but this place deserve -5000 stars… I have never experienced such a horrible service, such unfriendly staff and such a horrible food. We ordered three different dishes and all of them were fried, like deeply fried, not tasty. Mediocre wine as well. The restaurant was half empty but they refused to serve many people and told them they’d re fully booked. At 21.30h we left and while we were leaving they already started cleaning the table and did not say goodbye or anything. Also in the check there was suddenly a coffee with milk we never ordered. We told them and in the next second we had the right check without coffee. The waiter just had two receipts and was trying If the trick will pass and we would pay for a coffee… Don’t know where the high rating comes from but avoid...

I would not recommend this restaurant if you're looking for a place to eat with a good wait staff. We watched the team mess up 2 other tables orders (one was missing an item, and the other was completely wrong). As this was unfolding, it had been 60 min since we placed our order. I asked our waiter for a status update, and he returned to let me know that he forgot to give the order to the kitchen..........

We received our appetizer 15 min later and entrees over 30 min later. While the waiter was serving us, his manager said something to him and he delivered our table a very sarcastic "bon appetit". If you're going to make mistakes, please hold yourself accountable. We did not even get an...
