O Nosso Prego (Parede) — Restaurant in Cascais

The restaurant looks nice, but.... They bring you unwanted starters for which I assume you would have to pay in the end, while you have to ask for the menu. The waiter brings 2 menus for 4 people (while the restaurant is completly empty). It's unclear from the menu if the dishes come with any side dishes like: rice, potatoes, veggies and the waiter can barely speak English so it's hard to establish that. In the end it turned out that one dish came with nothing and another dish came with both rice and chips at the same time. We asked for the bill and waited quite a while. It was very windy and it was getting cold. When the waiter finally came he started taking our empty dishes away first, which extended the waiting time even more, and then he brought the bill. we’ve been there due to a lack of other options close by and we wanted Portuguese cuisine. it was a good value for money and, i must say, i was surprised by the tastiness. i admit i never eat shrimps, clams, sea bream, salmon when away from home as these i can have back home as well. i enjoyed the octopus salad and roasted cuttlefish or sea bass. my partner the meat. simple, nothing fancy and quick service. first time we had appetizers already on the table and i told them to take it back. we prefer to make our ...

Atendimento HORRÍVEL. NÃO RECOMENDO ESTE LUGAR! Um monte de funcionários a conversa,sem vontade nenhuma de trabalhar,empatia zero,qualidade da comida zero. Perguntei com gentileza como eram as batatas fritas(Nacionais ou congeladas)disseram que eram nacionais ou cortadas por eles;Foi uma total mentira. Batatas completamente secas,trouxeram um prato em que a funcionaria basicamente atirou a mesa e borrou a mesa toda com o molho eu tive de afastar a cadeira pra não me sujar,em seguida ela colocou um guardanapo de papel e foi-se deixou a mesa toda suja sem se preocupar. O molho estava completamente amargo e aguado,pedi o ovo bem passado ,veio queimado,a carne e a batata horrível,limonada horrível nem se quer perguntam ao cliente se quer gelo ou a quantidade desejada.
