Sushiway — Restaurant in Cascais

Very long wait. Little variety. More expensive prices.

The restaurant was full which might explain the long wait but it was inexcusably long. Interesting flavour combination: sushi with green beans, some might like it. Salmon sashimi had a little bit of skin on it but didn't taste fishy. Tuna sashimi did taste bad, however. Our table was not the only ones who returned it. We ordered the all-you-can-eat and there was very little variety in sushi. You cannot pick which sushi to order on the first plate, it's done at the chef's discretion. Most of it tastes good, I would've ordered more if I didn't have to wait 30 min in between the plates.

Standard cola is 2.90€ which is a little out there in terms of prices. 24€ for all-you-can-eat is also on the higher end, I did not find it was worth it.

The table next to us were waiting for the menu card for 15 min.

After reading many positive reviews of Sushiway, I was wholly underwhelmed by our experience there. The fish quality was average but the prices high comparatively. The tuna was clearly not fresh. Also, the prices on the English menu were different from the Portuguese menu (but since they were less, I assume it was an issue of not updating it). And even though we placed our order well before another table of diners, and despite the fact that there was a child in our party, half of our meal came much later. I would not waste my time or money going...

This place is OK. Only salmon, tuna, prawn and "white fish" offered, so very limited fish variety, but many choices as to the way you want your limited fish choice presented! Very small slivers of fish used too, so try to use one of the many offers to eat here or you'll leave hungry. House Sake was very poor quality, the worst I can remember. Not sure this place is worth the 4* I gave, so expect a 3.5*...
