Hotel M — Hotel in Espinho

Arrived in Espinho spur of the moment, with nothing booked accommodation - wise. Found this with recommendation from a sister hotel up the street. Room OK- it had all we needed though, as usual, no tea/coffee making facilities. Luckily we had our own kettle and the workings! Nice bathroom though the door's magnetic latch did not work. The really good thing was that we had a balcony. Breakfast included, and that was more than adequate, though taken in the rather gloomy ground floor bar. Parking can be difficult. There are, however, street guys around who, for a few coins, will help you find a spot, help you park and, for a few more coins or a pack of cigarettes, actually keep an eye on your vehicle for you. We found one and used him - nice guy. Probably not his fault that he is on the street. |Hotel M overall? We'd use it again if we were in Espinho. Good value overall.|One further comment about Espinho itself - there is not much to it apart from it's beach!! Frankly, it's boring after the first few hours and not somewhere we'll be thinking of...

The hotel is as simple as you can get. If I'm traveling alone and for work purposes I would say that this place is ok... And with the train station in front (don't worry, you don't hear the train) it can be quite handy. Now if you travel as a couple or with kids... Then I would recommend to pay a bit more and go to a better place. The breakfast is also very very simple (almost disappointing) and the room isn't that comfortable... As soon as I finish my meal I left because the space wasn't inviting or confy. Last but not least the bedroom's bathroom is very small... Which is far from ideal (at least to me). I'm not planning to return. It wasn't a bad experience but I prefer to pay a bit more and feel...

Einfaches 2 Sterne Hotel in 2 Reihe am Strand von Espinho und den Einkaufsstraßen, die Zimmer im Hotel sehen genau so aus wie auf den Bildern angegeben und sind sehr sauber gehalten, doch fangen wir mit der Rezeption an. Im Moment ist die Rezeption in Dunkel gehalten, wo ich aber denke, dass dies sich noch ändern wird, da noch verschiedene Renovierungsarbeiten im Gange sind, daher möchte ich hier nicht all zu viel sagen oder Schreiben das Personal ist sehr freundlich und auch, wenn es Sprachlich mal nicht so gut ging, wurde einem trotzdem, sofern möglich geholfen, Fahrstuhl ist vorhanden gleich an der Rezeption. Zimmer sind groß und hell Betten sind sehr bequem und Bad /Dusche ist groß, nur die Ablage sowie das Waschbecken sind etwas klein geraten. Zimmer werden täglich gereinigt und dies wirklich vom Feinsten, hier könnten sich viele mehr Sterne Hotels ein Scheibchen runter Schneiden. Frühstücksraum, ist momentan auch noch etwas Dunkel, hier ist man auch dabei Umbauten zu tätigen ohne die Gäste zu stören. Frühstück ist einfach gestaltet aber sehr lecker und alles Frisch und täglich frisches Obst, beim Saft könnte man noch was machen, da muss, ich sagen der war unmöglich... Nun ja man muss bedenken man ist in einem 2 Sterne Hotel, das super gelegen ist Bahnhof Stadt alles Fußläufig und man ist auch dabei vorne die große Esplanade zu erneuern zum Strand gehts um die Ecke rum 1 min zu Fuß und man ist auf der wunderschönen Meer Esplanade die nicht überfüllt von Hotels und Kitsch Boutiquen gesäumt ist, sondern noch echt einem kleinen Fischerdorf gleicht. Was noch erwähnt werden muss im Großen und Ganzen ist das Hotel sehr ruhig nur morgens die Frühaufsteher oder Späteinkehrer hört man leider immer, wenn Sie die Türen ohne Rücksicht zuknallen. Das Personal ist ausgesprochen freundlich und nett, wir für unseren Teil kommen mit Sicherheit wieder ins Hotel M den Preisleistungen stimmten zu 100 % und da man ja auch noch Arbeiten verrichtet bin ich sicher, das dieses Hotel sich bald zu einem kleinen Geheimtipp mausert, 100 % weiter Empfehlung und sicher wieder...
