Giramar Apartamentos Turísticos — Hotel in Lagos

Relaxing and tranquil accommodation. Situated in a quiet area but with a short walk (10-15 mins) to the beautiful coast line on one side and the old town on the other. The apartment is wonderful, equipped with everything you could need while on holiday, and the pool area is perfect for relaxing with lots of loungers to choose from. The rooms are large, modern and kept very tidy by the cleaning team. We found the bed to be extremely comfortable, and there was plenty of wardrobe space for hanging our clothes, as well as a safe for valuables. The kitchen was also very well equipped and I found the utensils, pots and pans to all be very well kept. The hotel has a homely, welcoming feel and the ladies at reception and the bar are fantastic. So friendly and helpful, and always available when we needed them. We were also able to arrange transport to Faro airport with a local taxi driver through the hotel, and he too was fantastic! This is a lovely apartment! It features a kitchen and living room, a bathroom with both a bath and shower, and two comfortable bedrooms. There are two balconies: one off the living and kitchen area overlooking the street, and the other from the bedroom area with views of the pool. The apartment is equipped with an iron, ironing board, washing machine, and drying rack.

The apartment offers both a small and a large pool, with the large pool having depths ranging from 0.6m to 0.9m and up to 1.5m. Lots of loungers available, and there’s a Moroccan restaurant that delivers food directly to the poolside! The rooms are cleaned daily. It is also only a 20 minute walk to town and to Ponta da Piedade!

Stayed 1 week in late September, and loved it. I was travelling with my two adult offspring (father, daughter and son getaway) and we were all very impressed with the facilities and the apartment. Super-clean, very comfortable. As so many reviewers have said... great location, not far to walk to Old Town or multiple beaches. Staff are friendly, relaxed, professional and very helpful in recommending hikes, sites, dining, and any shopping needs. I'm Canadian, have travelled extensively throughout the world, and wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend this fine...
