Moby Dick Lodge Sintra — Hotel in Sintra

I don't even know where to begin! I spent an entire month there, and it was truly an incredible experience. The place itself is spotless, comfortable, and peaceful—exactly what you need to relax and unwind. There's a supermarket just around the corner for convenience, and you’re also close to some beautiful beaches. On top of that, Sintra, with all its charm, is only a 30-minute drive away, so you get the best of both worlds.

Pedro, the host, was absolutely amazing. He’s not only welcoming but also has a great sense of humor, which made the stay even more enjoyable. I felt right at home from the moment I arrived.

One of the highlights is their surf camp. Whether you're a seasoned surfer or a beginner, you can take surf lessons or simply rent a board and enjoy the waves on your own. It’s the perfect way to spend your days if you’re into surfing.

I absolutely loved my stay here!! The location of the lodge is perfect for exploring some of the charming cities around or enjoy the beautiful beaches, as well as gorgeous Sintra-Cascais natural park, which is right next door! Pedro is a super nice and accommodating host and the hostel had such a charming atmosphere to it, really clean and comfortable and always filled with nice people. It was easy to feel like at home! I can especially recommend the hostel if you want to surf. There are a lot of incredible spots around. You can rent a board and explore on your own or do the surf lessons, which are so much fun and the teachers are great.

Already miss this place, will for sure have to come...

It was a unique holiday, one of those that keeps your heart warm. Pedro, Caetano and Mariana made our stay a unique experience and We felt as part of their family. Everything was amazing from the surf lessons with Marcelo, a great teacher, to the bike tour, the yoga and beers together.
