A very nice place to have a cheap and cheerful lunch. Great views of the river and countryside. Our waiter Lucas was amazing! I think he made this place so much better too! Nachos were stale and the dipping sauce was that from a jar in a supermarket. Shame because it really doesn't take much to make nachos. Grilled chicken was very nice though and great wine at a very good price! Shame that this place doesn't make the most of what it has. Thank goodness for Lucas! He was just the sweetest waiter ever and looked after us. He removed the nachos from the bill too.

Great place on the way from Sintra to the Miradouro and Fojo. We were starting to get hungry and stopped because the parking area was full. We figured that was a good sign. We had the mixed grill for two. It had picanha, pork ribs, and entremeada. The cheese course was a delicious mixture, an aged cheese made of cows, sheep, and goat milk. The price was more than fair considering amount of food we were served. The waitress was really potent as I practiced my Portuguese. 😉

Fantastic restaurant with huge and delicious portions! We got the mixed grill for two had enough to take home for another meal. My mum had the sea bass which was perfectly fresh and cooked to perfection. Also very affordable prices. The staff were lovely and it had the best location right by the little foot bridge over the river where you can watch the ducks which my baby boy loved. Not sure why this restaurant doesn’t have a higher rating - five stars all round.

Decided to go for dinner at this restaurant as it was close to where we were staying. The waiter who decided to serve us was extremely rude and arrogant. It was almost as if we were an inconvenience for being there. I wanted to order the Chicken Assado and was told that as it would take 30 minutes to prepare it would not be available .. First time in my life that a Portuguese restaurant did not have chicken. My sister wanted to order the Hake and was told that it only came with rice, if she wanted chips or salad instead she would have to pay extra.The waiter even walked away as my husband was trying to ask about more options. At this stage we had enough of the grubby looking waiter and decided to leave as the evening had started off on a bad note. Do not recommend this restaurant as the...

Possibly the worst service I have ever had in a restaurant. The waiter took my order and took about 20 mins to deliver my drink. After 40 mins I opted to move inside as my food had not arrived and I was cold.

At that point they told me they had to cancel my order because I moved tables and asked if I wanted to start again.

By this point I was tired, cold and hungry. They didn’t even ask if I wanted to cancel the order, they just did it as soon as I moved tables.

The manager was in an even worse mood so I didn’t try to negotiate.

Thankfully one of the more experienced staff ordered me a Prato do dia and it came within 20 mins. I paid and left, resolving never to eat at this...

Level of service too low for a very good location! 15:00 o'clock the place was empty! We ordered two fried steakes and wait for more than 40 minutes! We were walking from Sintra to Praia das Macas and we were with hurry to keep our way! So after waiting more than 40 minutes we asked politely if the meal was almost ready to be served.
