I stayed for 2 nights in a room at the back of the building as it was the only one available. At 40 euros per night you cannot complain. Spotlessly clean. Good Shower. The breakfast room was very quaint, beautiful tiles & old Picture frames to admire with a window view of the river. Nice breakfast cake & a huge glass of freshly squeezed orange juice brought to you. The location is fantastic, I was able to walk with my luggage from the bus station and also ideal to catch the Ferry boat to Isla Tavira. The elderly couple that were running the place (I believe in the absence of their son) were very sweet, and although don't speak english, if you can speak some Spanish or Italian they can understand. This is a character hotel in a prime location and great value for money. We had a room with a window onto the side walk way and we did not find noise an issue. Beds are comfortable and the room charming. We did not ask about wifi as we did not require it. Free street parking out front of hotel and surrounding streets. I would stay there again because the hotel ticked our top three boxes; 1. quaint Portugese flavour 2. economical 3....
