Fuzion — Restaurant in Tavira

My family visited this restaurant and we were really looking forward to a lovely meal. Most of the food we have had in Tavira has been of amazing quality, until today. I ordered the monkfish and shrimp skewer and it arrived lukewarm so I sent it back to be reheated. My son ordered the octopus cataplana which was nice but a very small portion and certainly not worth €28. My daughter was happy with the seafood spaghetti and my husband was ok with the Iberian mixed grill. The waiters were very nice and even asked the manageress if we could have a discount because of the food which I wasn’t that bothered about. The manageress declined and didn’t even bother to come to the table to resolve the issue which to me is the height of rudeness.

I have visited Tavira many times and this is the most mediocre and most expensive restaurant we have eaten at. A disappointing end to an otherwise amazing holiday.

Pity they charge so much for tap water bottled with fuzion branding. 🤔😵‍💫. Tried hard to get me to drink a beer 🍺 despite me saying i am driving 🚗.

Hope food is eatable.

Man was wrenching next to us hence I would say atmosphere was not best. But they left and told not to smoke indoors.

Chicken salad reasonable. 2 rubber chicken bits... happens.

But needs extra costs to make it cesar for dressing, can use oil and vinegar of desperately trying not to.eat naked salad. But ok with just a touch of salt. Vegetables fresh.

Monk fish came out uncooked 1/2 down skewer sent back to be cooked more. Fries went down well..., the replacement was very nice gesture and redeemed uncooked fish.

Flies in restau🪰rant but that is expected with open doors and walls.

Toilet ran out of drying paper for hands... reported it they sorted it.... I hope. No paper down loos.

This place is unacceptable on all levels!

We ordered a Sangria, and it turned out to be a pre-made one instead of being made manually, which was only explained to us after we complained about the taste.

Additionally, we informed the staff that one of the ladies was pregnant, and we asked them to ensure that the meat was cooked well done. Unfortunately, it was sent back twice.

To make matters worse, I'm seriously considering reporting this.

When it came time to pay, the employee handed me the ATM machine to enter my card and PIN. I wanted to choose Swiss francs instead of euros, since it's my card, but he insisted on selecting euros. His justification was, “We are in Portugal, not Switzerland!” I felt tempted to reply, “Well, we are in Portugal, not Brazil,” given that the employee was Brazilian.

I will never return to this...
