Grand Hotel Astoria — Hotel in Constanta Metropolitan Area

Pro: Close to the beach Good room with sea side view Hotel close to near by grocery shops (mega image) and other central places The young receptionist and the boys were friendly.

Cons: Price is very high for what they can offer No towel replaced 4 nights (290 in June same price for weekdays but in litoralulromanesc lower price 209) Paid for the breakfast it was not just expensive 30 lei but I also had to pay double price for my mate. Every other hotel I tried has the same price. The breakfast was so average at its best l I don't recommend it. Cockroach was waiting at my door's threshold. A miracle it didn't step inside. The entrance door has a very large gap underneath, everyone can hear whats going on inside and vice-versa The floor felt so harsh when not wearing flip-flops. Might experience loudly nights. Remote control, battery were out of power

I have heard in some places a form of torture is to play excessively loud tuneless music while you are trying to sleep as a means to prevent you from sleeping. If you would like to optionally experience this for yourself please book a stay at the Grand Hotel Astoria. The nearby open air clubs are so loud you can hear the music even if staying on the 12th floor like we did, and the music doesn't stop. Even at 2am on a Sunday night like while writing this review. Last night went to at least 4am. The bass reverberates through the entire building so even if you manage to block out the sounds you can at least feel the music.

While this is not the hotels problem per se, they should at least warn you of the issue before you book a room.

On the plus side, the bed is comfortable, the staff are super friendly, and the water pressure for the showers is perfect. The views are also tremendous. Very close...

I have booked a double room last minute. Due to the time of the booking there weren't to many hotels available for the weekend.||I booked Astoria hotel and wasn't expecting too much from it.||When arrived at 10:30 in the morning i was so pleasantly surprised to be offered the early check it with no trouble at all. We were travelling with a 5 years old child so the receptionist gave us a triple room with no supplement. ||The hotel is very nice and clean, just 30 m away from the beach, the staff is very helpful and smiling. ||The price we paid was 50 EUR per night (made it through booking but the reception price is the same.)||The only problem was the parking. They have only a few lots so it was a nightmare to find a parking spot closely to the hotel.||I really recommend this for a...
