Excellent Stay at Hotel Sulina International – Highly Recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming, professional, and attentive to every detail. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and I immediately felt at ease.
The rooms are modern, spacious, and impeccably clean, with comfortable beds and stunning views of the sea or lake (depending on the side). The housekeeping staff did a wonderful job maintaining cleanliness throughout the stay.
One of the standout features is the breakfast buffet—plentiful, varied, and delicious. There was something for every taste, including fresh fruits, pastries, hot dishes, and traditional Romanian options. The hotel restaurant also offers great food during the day, with both local and international dishes.
The location is perfect—right near the beach, within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and beach bars, yet far enough from the noisy party zones to enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep.
The hotel also offers excellent services and amenities, including free Wi-Fi, secure parking, and a cozy bar/lounge area.
Overall, Hotel Sulina International offers great value for money and is ideal for both couples and families looking to enjoy a relaxing seaside vacation in Mamaia. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the...
Read moreThe teen at the front desk, responsible for check-ins, was almost hostile when we arrived. Don't know why ... It seemed to be something more than "I have a bad day, I don't like my job" but is not the kind of reception one expects when paying 100 euro for a room per night.
Also, the rooms are small and our balcony had a very bad smell from the drainage system (solved by the cleaning personnel). The bathrooms are even smaller.
The good parts ? The hotel is newly renovated, the rooms clean and the design interesting. Breakfast is self serving and decent.
All in all, I wonder why is so expensive when it offers about same conditions as hotels twice cheaper.
A few more details. The hotel and it's immediate surroundings are ok but step a few meters away and you stumble upon garbage and dirt. Also the parking lot is a mess (the hotel staff denies any responsability, claiming to be public space; although included parking lots are advertised). Wifi was free but iffy. I managed with some patience to...
Read moreGorgeous hotel just meters away from Mamaia's White Beach. The hotel is perfect for a few days stay at the seaside as they offer bright and clean rooms, stylishly decorated in pastel colours. Although the room and the bathroom were smaller than I would expect from a 4* hotel, they provided everything you could possibly need. Sulina International offers a wide variety of meals at their own restaurant which I recommend you trying. The restaurant has a nice view towards an outside fountain. Breakfast was varied and I especially liked it for the wide range of fruits on offer. There are a lot of families with kids that stay here but the hotel overall is pretty quiet. They also have a large conference room which can also be used for weddings or other private events. Their parking lot seemed to be always full so was hard to find a parking space around. The beach is close by and there are also a few convenience stores just...
