Hampton by Hilton Iasi — Hotel in Iași Metropolitan Area

This is a clean, well-maintained and perfectly located hotel. I have stayed in Iasi frequently over the past 15 years and was happy to see the advent of Hampton by Hilton. It is modern and straightforward. The room was spacious, with wonderful views and spotlessly cleaned and appointed. While there is no mimi-bar or room service (this is a Hampton) all basic amenities were catered for. I feel some previous reviews are unnecessarily harsh. I found little to fault in terms of key services provided. Breakfast was generous and varied with many fresh vegetables and fruit to supplement the usual. It was a great base for work. The location is perfect and ideally placed to walk to the main city highlights. Despite a generally satisfactory experience, however, there was something missing. Friendly rapport and a smile can go a long way. This did not exist. Checkin was cold and wordless. No smile. To my astonishment, I had to pay in advance. Never before in a Hilton branded hotel. There seemed to be very few staff anywhere. Checkout was similarly charmless. I suspected inefficiencies due to the disinterest and inexperience of staff. I was right. Despite being a Hilton diamond member, my points were never recorded and Hilton central cannot locate my folio (although I have a booking reference). This is unacceptable. And I figured out the problem - there is no manager onsite. No team motivation. No supervision. This is a fine hotel with lots of potential but it needs to be managed well and to demonstrate...

My stay at Hilton Iași was generally pleasant, though there are a few areas that could use improvement. The hotel is a bit older, and you can tell in some of the details, but overall it’s still well-maintained and matches its 3-star classification fairly. The room I stayed in was quite spacious, which was a major plus — it felt comfortable and allowed for a good amount of relaxation after long days. However, the lack of a balcony was a downside, especially during the summer when a bit of fresh air would have been welcome. One major issue I noticed was the air conditioning. It functioned, but it was extremely noisy — loud enough to disturb sleep, especially during the night. A technical revision or upgrade would definitely help improve the overall guest comfort. The breakfast was probably the most underwhelming part of the experience. While not bad, it was very repetitive — during my four-day stay, the same items were served every morning with no variation. At this price point, I think guests should expect a bit more diversity and freshness in the breakfast offering. Cleanliness was good throughout my stay — the room was tidied up daily and all facilities were in clean condition. The staff was professional and courteous, always willing to help when needed. All in all, Hilton Iași is a decent choice for a short stay. It offers the basics, and the spacious rooms are a definite advantage. However, for the price charged, there's room for improvement — especially with breakfast variety and better air...

3 stars hotel, near to city of the centre, with free parking for guests. Kindly staff. My experiences: Room: if the window is open, the noise of the city can be heard. The hotel is right next to a busy stretch of road, with lots of cars and trams passing by every minute of the day. this bothers me a lot because I can't sleep at night. however, if I close the window, there is no air in the room. There is no mosquito net on the window, so bugs and mosquitoes come in. room cleanliness: the bin is emptied every day, but they do not vacuum every day or put clean towels. I've found long black hairs in the bathroom quite a few times, even though I don't have hair. :) room equipment: large screen TV, air conditioning (kettle, coffee powder, tea filter, these are good). huge bed, comfortable mattress. iron, hairdryer, safe. however, there is only one shelf in the wardrobe, so those who come for a long time cannot store their clothes properly. breakfast: two types of omlettes, bacon, sausage. (I would recommend a fried egg instead of one of the omelets, I would have been happy with it, because then it would be a bit more varied). I liked the waffle maker. 3 types of vegetables: cucumber, pepper and tomato. Coffee machines make delicious cappuccinos. The Cappy soft drinks are delicious, but they could be cold because they are not so good when warm. Fitness room: it has...
