Hotel Marami — Hotel in Sinaia

I stayed several times at this hotel. The rooms are very small, but the breakfast is quite good. The low number of stars that I gave to this location, are coming from the restaurant experience. The menu is absolutely basic and you definitely can find much better places for you lunch and dinner in Sinaia. Moreover, we had a very bad experience today: we came with our child to have lunch on the terrace. Nobody asked us if we want to drink or eat something despite of the fact that we were exactly at the table in front of the bar, where were all the waiters. The terrace was not full. Our child went to take the menus and we waited in total almost half an hour. At the end I went to the bar and told them that we are living as it is not acceptable to take orders from other people who came after us and for more than 20 minutes nobody to ask us (with a child as I mentioned) if we need something. Well rated for the nice location - close to the main turistic attractions in Sinaia - Peles Castle and Pelisor - and the fact that the rooms are wide enough, bedsheets and towels clean, toiletries offered (showergel and soap, showercap) and hair-drier is available in the bathroom. However the positive review is shaded by the restaurant services - it happened many times that different product was given instead of the actual order (eg: instead of Jack Daniels some other lower quality was offered, or dishes containing some type of cheese (like the very typical ‘branza de burduf’ was changed with mozzarella). It’s not even the lower quality product the problem but the disrespect, the fact we were not informed before in order to make his own choice and thus we paid more for smth else. The rating is for the restaurant, not the hotel because I have not stayed in the hotel. The attitude of the waiters made me feel very uncomfortable: from the fact that he found excuses for not getting our order right "sorry, there is only 1 cook" and not apologizing for misplacing it, to the fact that he told us (I was with a group) that we can pay separately, then rolling his eyes when we decided to indeed pay separately and becoming very passive aggressive, which made me leave the restaurant very angry and unsettled.
