The room was rather nice, but it didn't seem properly cleaned, the floor was very dusty and there were many hairs on the carpets in the room and the bathroom. There were suspicious brown stains on the bed sheets. The towels too, and one of them was simply stretched and teared in one place. There was only one pair of complimentaries in the bathroom, despite the fact that we were in a double room, and that didn't include shampoos and shower gels, just a bathroom cap and a sewing kit. The staff didn't rearrange the bed, but they had collected the trash and left the terrace door open in the middle of a very cold October and the heating doesn't work during the day, so we came back to a very cold, untidy room. Oh, and by the way a hair accessory of mine went missing, intentionally or not, it might have just been misplaced when they were "cleaning" the room, but it wasn't in the room and we...

We spent one night at Hotel Marea Neagra in Sinaia.

Our double room was on the top (third) floor. The property does not have an elevator. The room was nice and clean with a comfortable bed and a balcony which offered beautiful views over the mountains. The shower was modern.

The buffet breakfast did not have vegan options but the lady supervisor overlooking the restaurant was very accommodating of our dietary requirements - she asked the kitchen to cook us 'sauteed vegetables', it was delicious!

We also appreciated that the lady at the reception allowed us to do a late check out (at 12:30).

In summary, the beautiful mountain views, the politeness of staff and the vegan breakfast made for us made our stay at Hotel Marea Neagra...

Hotel is fairly well situated close to Peles Castle but a fair way from the town centre. Bedroom was a good size but dated, room/bed was not made up during our stay although we left the sign on the door. The breakfast was excellent but staff were not very friendly at all especially at check in. No kettle, tea or coffee in room, view overlooking car park. Not many car parking spaces but we did manage to find one eventually. No lift so bit awkward with heavy bags. Our stay was ok but would have been nice to have been made to feel welcome also advice in what was going on in local area would have been good eg festival going on in the town which we just happened...

Aaaahhhh where do I begin….I know I want to go back already!!! Place is just so amazing!! Great location that allows you to go to all of the other amazing places around it:Peles castle,Sinaia monastery, the gondola! Place is very clean and our towels were changed every day. But the restaurant really blew us away! Food was so delicious!! And the best part about it was that the food came out extremely fast!! Something that seems not to happen at that many places in Romania. Really really fast! Breakfast was out of this world! Anything that you can imagine:eggs, sausages, cold cuts, cheeses!! Staff was awesome too! Very attentive and fast!!! Love love loved it!!!

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing, perfect for a peaceful getaway. The room was very clean and comfortable, making my stay enjoyable. The food was excellent, we had both lunch and dinner at the hotel, and everything was tasty and freshly prepared. Breakfast was also delicious with a nice variety of fresh options. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and great food in a calm setting.
