Andree — Hotel in Sinaia

I arrived on 28th of December, @ afternoon. At the first sight the permises looked ok. We got room nr.9, 2nd floor- a strong smell of sewage hit our noses, while entering the room. We requested another room, which was granted to us, but the same issue... smell...||I had to go to market to buy some small "Mr.Muscolo granules to eliminate the "odour.||having settled oouselves, we went down to the restaurant ot have some food.||I must say that the food was fantastic, and i am not joking!||Very good, tasting, really traditional ciorba and other Romanian receipes. ||The prices are unbeatable, one cannot find in Sinaia cheaper food , cooked than here. ||This is a point which alleviate the issue before. ||This is a 3 daisy facility , not 3 stars, but the owners are very nice people and very cooperative. ||The point that they need to focus is the furniture in all rooms, as well as the bathrooms. Shower heads very old, worn-out, some lamp shades broken, TV very small, something like 37-40 cm, barely could see at it.||||I am not saying bad things, but someones needs to point out the good and the things that need to be improved, in order to have a proper accomodation.||||All - in...

In comparison with other B&Bs in Sinaia, Pensiunea Andree has decent prices, i.e. ~25-30£/triple room/night. For this price one gets a room with a double and a single bed, en-suit bathroom, a fridge and a balcony. The B&B has a restaurant and a terrace as well. If you have active holidays and you use the rented accommodation exclusively to sleep, Pensiunea Andree is a good place to stay. However, if you plan to hang around, you might wish to know that most of the fittings don't quite work as expected: the toilets don't flush, they trickle some water in the bowl; the doors look only after a few moments of jiggling; the wardrobe doors have missing handles; the wifi signal is so weak that you'll soon abandon it in frustration and use your own data; there is a reception but finding an employee is a lengthy cat and mouse game; there is a restaurant but its door might be locked if the waitress is needed for other chores and it closes at 10:30pm anyway. So everything almost works as intended and you can get by in the end but this is not the place for you if you have high expectations. However, it is a good place to crash to...

This place is cheap and I would not expect anything more than the cheapest place there is, a double room for couples for example has two beds put together which basically separate both people, in the whole week I've been here with my girlfriend absolutely no one cleaned the room or changed the sheets, this place is unsanitary, the host is rude and unwelcoming, the staff is nice enough though, the food is microwaved. First thing that we came across was a broken wall plug, not 5 minutes later once i flipped the bathroom light on the fuses turned off.
