Opus View — Hotel in Sinaia

|We led a trip for three other couples, and so we secured for rooms here at the Villa, based on booking.com overviews – it’s true that the facility is beautiful and clean on the outside and the common areas, and even the rooms – but there are some major issues that make us not want to recommend this place in the future. ||While our friends have reasonably comfortable rooms, our room had the following, major issues – almost no Internet availability, absolutely no available plugs to charge our devices, the walls were paperthin and it was noisy, and the bed mattress prevented us from even attempting to sleep comfortably. ||While I understand from our friends that some of the other rooms were better, it seems odd that the couple that lead a group of people to this place would be given the most substandard room in the complex – we will not be bringing any more groups here to this particular location.||We will see however the view of the Carpathians and the proximity to Castle Peles were excellent, and the German speaking attendant was very accommodating – it’s just the quality of the place cannot make up from those simple, bad attributes mentioned above.||A suggestion to the management – if you know someone was the reason three other couples came to patronize your location, you want to make sure that you treat that leading couple well by giving them a high-quality room: otherwise those group leaders will not bring anyone back to your facility...

We stayed in Vila Marald for two nights, in a ski trip. ||It is situated at 1.3 km from the center, but since the road is going up you may feel that it is longer if you walk from center to the hotel. It is almost the same distance to the telegondola lift station and Taverna Sarbului Restaurant. || ||The rooms are big. I think every room is different, our was in a very classical style with a nice wallpaper. Very extensive selection of personal care goods in the bathroom, including comb, razor, toothbrush... The bathroom is small but it has "intelligent" WC seat and a nice shower cabin with music and a lot of water possibilities. ||||The breakfast is OK, however it is not a buffet, it is a fixed plate with omelette, crenwurst, mozarella, salami and also butter, jam, tea or coffee. If you stay for multiple days the same breakfast could be a real problem. Also smoking is allowed in the breakfast room and this is not very pleasant. ||||The room was warm, however the heating was started when we arrived, therefore in the first evening was not as warm as...

O vila/pensiune (nu stiu cum sa zic!) de 4 margarete care s-a achitat pe jumatate de sarcini, fata de turisti. Spun acest lucru prin prisma faptului ca la receptie nu exista personal non-stop si masa de dimineata nu se serveste in incinta ci la o alta locatie, pe o strada in amonte, la ... "Fratele mai mare" (daca imi este permis sa spun!) Opus Villa! Acest lucru, pe mine, sincer, nu m-a deranjat, dar, am auzit destui turisti cazati care nu vorbeau de bine acest aspect! Argumentele pro pentru scorul acordat, sunt urmatoarele: este situata pe o strada cunoscuta din Sinaia, nu foarte departe de centru, ceea ce face sa se ajunga relativ repede si usor, atat cu masina cat si pietonal; este prevazuta cu locuri de parcare suficiente pentru posesorii de masini cazati; indiferent de etajul la care sunteti cazati, imaginea din camera/balcon este absolut superba. Veti descoperi un rasarit de soare magistral! camerele sunt spatioase si dotate cu strictul necesar si chiar peste! Televizor lcd, a.c., minifrigider, fierbator de apa, aparat de cafea, halate de baie, papuci de casa de unica folosinta, etc. baia, modern utilata, dotata cu minicada si multifunctional de dus prevazut cu diuze de masaj acvatic. Un amanunt, dar care mie mi-a atras atentia a fost ca, pentru sampon/sapun lichid de spalat pe maini, corporal si par, folosesc produse de la un faimos brand din domeniu (nu o sa-i dau numele din motive lesne de inteles!); masa de dimineata este una basic, cu produse alimentare uzuale, nici "prea-prea" dar nici "foarte-foarte"! curatenie se face si se goleste cosul de gunoi, zilnic; Pe langa acestea, am identificat si cateva aspecte mai putin placute, astfel: receptia nu este deschisa non-stop ci exista un domn care vine doar la nevoie sau cand se face check-in. Din punctul meu de vedere este un mare dezavantaj pentru turisti, deoarece lipsa unui personal non-stop creaza deficiente organizatorice si chiar disconfort emotional. M-am confruntat cu o situatie absolut banala si a trebuit sa astept in fata pensiunii, seara pe racoare, o jumatate de ora pana a venit domnul in cauza sa ma ajute! masa de dimineata se serveste la o alta locatie, Opus Villa, situata pe o strada in amonte, dar care necesita o plimbare de 10 minute pe jos; vila este dispusa pe o artera cunoscuta, chiar intr-o rascruce de drumuri, care este foarte tranzitata de masini, producand poluare fonica si atmosferica, atat ziua dar mai ales noaptea; scarile interioare sunt abrupte, inguste si dispuse in spirala, ceea ce ingreuneaza mult caratul lor pana in camera. Acestea ar fi, in principal, aspectele pe care le-am identificat eu pe perioada sejurului la Opus View si care nu doresc, in niciun fel, sa afecteze...
