Casa Hanna — Hotel in Zona Metropolitană Brașov

Spent just one night in this place. Small, but romantic and very cozy, the room we got was very clean with the best view money can buy. We might got the smallest room, but from the window one could watch all night the sky and the big sign BRASOV from the mountains. Mr. Karl, the owner, is a very friendly and helpful person. Even when we arrived late in the evening tired after a long journey he waited for us ready to assist. The bathroom was also small but very clean, the twin beds had good size. Yet, one might want to bring his own towels, as there were only 2 small ones. And it was warm...very warm in the room. Thank you for that, as it was freezing outside. The hotel is located not far away from the center and its in such a quiet zone that one could really enjoy a good night sleep. But for those ones who would choose Hanna for a holiday it would be great to take not a long time walk from the hotel to the old city, its worth it. Just a quick advice, if I may: remove that coffe machine from the hallway and put instead some small coffe makers in the room; a good cup of tea or coffe in the morning before any breakfast might do wonders to some. The owners are lovely and really make you feel at home. ||They gave us a wonderful map of Brasov that they color coded - marked by hand. ||||There is a communal dining area with a refrigerator and electric kettle. There are dishes and plastic-ware available if you need it. There is also a good 24 hour market only a few minutes walk from the pension. ||||Outside is a trampoline and ping pong table. ||||Walking to the old town is a bit far, but if you come by car this is a great place to stay. There is parking on the street or you can park inside the pension too. The owners showed us where to park in town. It is 20-30minutes of walk from old town and view from top floor is very nice (Mountains and house roofs). Staff is nice, but I would not rexomment this place due to old, awful smell in the bathroom and few incinveniences. We agreed to check in at 8am after all nights flights and driving without sleep but when we came no one was answering. When they finally answered, they said it is not possible. It was a nightmare after such long travel. On second day there was no running water 😩 another nightmare. 2 stars are a joke I guess considering spider webs under beds and condition...
