Pensiunea Mury is located on the edge of the historic center of Brasov, but the square and the old town are only a 20-minute walk away. The place appears simple, but still has a charm and homely atmosphere.||On arrival, we were welcomed by a pleasant employee who informed us in a pleasant way about the facilities and the times for breakfast. The reception was open 24 hours a day and we experienced good help from the staff when we needed this. We also received a warm greeting when we checked out.||The guest room was simply furnished, but spotlessly clean and had a homely feel. The bed was nicely made with freshly ironed and clean linen and the mattresses appeared to be firm and comfortable. There was a small table, two chairs and a wardrobe in the room in addition to the bed. The bathroom was also simply furnished, but appeared to be spotlessly clean and functional. There was no air conditioning in the room, but with an open window in the bathroom and the guest room, there was sufficient air circulation.||There was a well-functioning free wireless network throughout the boarding house.||Breakfast was served a la carte and you could order various breakfast alternatives from a menu. This worked very well and the breakfast was tasty.||The guesthouse also had a small patio with table and chairs in the backyard, which was experienced as pleasant.||I really enjoyed the place and can recommend it to anyone who wants a simple and affordable...

This was a nice pension in Brasov, Romania. Brasov was a great city situated in the beautiful Carpathian Mountains. The pension was about a 15-20 minute walk to the center of old town. It had a very nice and friendly staff. I asked where I could buy a jersey for the local football club. He didn't know and said he would find out. Five minutes later he returned and said he asked his brother who used to be on the team and his brother called the coach to find out! That's what I call service! The bed was a typical hard European hotel mattress. My only complaint about the room was that the toilet, although clean, was not bolted down firmly and the shower curtain was about ready to be changed. It wasn't a big deal and I think they would have changed it if we had asked. There were other pensions closer to town but those would have been noisy with the street crowds and clubs. The street outside Pension Mury was a bit busy, but it was because the main drag, one street over, was under construction. Overall, I would recommend the...
