Otel' Regina Na Peterburgskoy — Hotel in Kazan

The staff, the security and breakfast were really great. The room .... well.... horrible.||||Why: the door had to be locked by the key to keep it closed, the window could not be closed due to the bent frame, the nightstand lamp next to the bed could not be used - you had to hold the plug in the socket by hand, and it was flickering. The furnishings are very dated and worn out (not even sure where they managed to get those). ||||Location - good - you can walk around the center and to the Bauman street. ||||There are a few decent hotels around it, so I recommend to avoid this one. Stayed in Regina in Kazan on Peterburgskoy st 11. Absolutely awful customer service. One of my guests who wasn't staying over got kicked out outside in cold winter because it was after 23:00. Receptionist named Alsu was very rude and unhelpful, kept forcing us to pay 700rub to have our guest over, even though she lives in Kazan and wasn't even planing on staying over. Music was playing loudly until 6 am in restaurant area downstairs. Rooms are old but generally ok and warm, but really dirty. The only good thing...
