We recently held a big event in this hotel and the service was impeccable! I think the biggest support we need from a hotel during an event is flexibility to accomodate any changes, being at our service throught the event and easing out our stress. While most hotels add to our tension offlate, radisson has always been about customer first. *Mr shafik, our events head was brilliant, warm,respectful and welcoming! Any issues/ changes, he was soo helpful and did his best to make sure everything was smooth and perfect. He offered his help in matters outside his scope all of which helped in making the event super successful. *Mashgool was there anytime we needed any help with arrangements, food, coffee, mics, flipcharts, gifts distributions etc. *Fatteh was the bell boy who warmly welcomes all guests and makes everyone feel comfortable from the word go! Goes above and beyond to help everyone settle in. *Aiman was always positive and happy and present around to handle any hiccups. *Omar who handled IT ensured no technical gitches and always there anytime at the drop of a message to ensure all IT matters are smooth. *Asif did a good job in ensuring all room supplies were well stocked and serviced. *Milaf the reception lady was warm, welcoming and super helpful. Read moreThe location is very nearby the airport. The housekeeping staff were helpful and very attentive. The villa is not nearly up to it’s price, the villa’s are quite old and used. Maintenance on the villas are bad (the filters in the pools and the over top fan weren’t working properly). The tables were scratched upon our arrival and we reported how unsatisfied we were to the reception as soon as we entered the villa.
Upon our check out they were blaming us for the scratches on the tables even though is was obvious that everything was already old and used, they refused to give us our deposit back claiming we were the ones who scratched the tables. I have never been to a hotel were i was falsely accused like that it was very upsetting because we were all adults with no children. Furthermore when we asked to speak to the manager we waited for over 40+ minutes until he arrived and by that time we were late for our flight at the airport.
Even though we have stayed at radisson blue several times over the years in various countries and we have always enjoyed our stay with no complaints, but regarding this branch the management was very poor.
They gave us the deposit back in the end but i will never return to this...
