We’ve ordered from Whoa Tea a few times now and it’s been a nice experience every time. Super glad they opened a branch near us!
For our first visit, we dropped by at night and had a bit of a hard time with parking, everything was full. We got the Brown Sugar Boba and really liked it. You can actually taste the tea and it’s not too sweet, which was perfect. We also tried the Taro Mochi Milk Tea. But this one was quite different. It had real taro mixed in, and the flavor leaned more toward ginataang kamote. If you’re into that kind of dessert, you might like it, but it wasn’t really for us. (We only got curious about it because it reminded us of the Taro drink from Quickly back in the Philippines, which is one of our favorites.) Still, it was interesting to try something new. The staff were fellow kabayans and so friendly!
For our second order, which we placed through HungerStation, we went for the Coconut Matcha which was recommended by their staff on our first visit and the Cloud Strawberry Tea. The Coconut Matcha was delicious, really good but the Cloud Strawberry Tea quickly became our favorite. It’s got real strawberry pieces, cheese and this extra something we couldn’t quite figure out, but it's so good. Not too sweet, just really tasty. Packaging was impressive too, it came in a reusable insulated bag, with each cup sealed and even a sweet little note included. You can tell they really put thought into the details.
For our third order (also via HungerStation), we tried the Cloud Cheese Bun and we LOVED it too, it was so soft and fluffy. Not heavy or overly rich, just really really good. Of course, we had to get more Cloud Strawberry Tea, we seriously can’t get enough of it. If you’re into fruity drinks that still have that creamy milk tea vibe, this one is a must-try! Packaging was just as neat as before (reusable insulated bag), and we really appreciate that...
Read morethey had the buy one get one for free offer, they recommended us the best flavors and told us they would change them for free if we didn’t like them and they did. The staff was sooo very kind and patient even though we asked for different drinks several SEVERAL times and told them to change the ones we didn’t like. They even gave us little tiny gifts which were superr cute. They were all smiley smiley, happy and welcoming the whole time, this is something i noticed and that i truly appreciate, love, and am thankful for about this place, not only in this branch but the sulimaniyah branch as well. I am absolutely addicted to their Oreo Mochi Milk Tea with Boba and lately it has been the Double Matcha Milkshake, super yummm and is the perfect option for summer.
couldn’t resist but to take pics beside the massive...
