Hotel Saffron — Hotel in Bratislava

Airline timetables connecting Ireland to Slovakia sometimes dictate that we arrive in Bratislava late in the evening. This means that we must spend an overnight in the capital before travelling on to family who live about two hours to the North. As the hotel we usually stay in could not help us, we were fortunate to find accommodation in Hotel Saffron.|Our destination was a modern block situated off a modest street off one of the main thoroughfares of the city. The moment we went through the entrance to reception, we realised we had made a good choice! The large reception area was modern in appearance and extremely well maintained. The receptionists could not have been more efficient or helpful.|Hotel Saffron has lifts which whisked us up to the level of our room which was in keeping with the rest of the hotel – clean, large comfy bed, good view over the city (well, we had from our room!) good size of television screen, en-suite equipped with all you could ask for. For those who are easily disturbed, location means that there is no traffic noise.|Breakfast was buffet style, having a huge choice. As they say in Ireland “if you go hungry, it’s your own fault”. |In the morning, we realised that Hotel Saffron specialises in hosting conferences as could be seen from the number of delegates arriving.|All in all, we enjoyed our stay and hope to go back shortly as we will be making our Autumn...

Pre Check In : I informed through Hotels.com that my flight will arrive late in the night and I received a confirmation from the hotel very quickly||Location : Excellent. Choice for 4 different tram lines within in a few minutes walk from the hotel. ||Check In : My flight got delayed & I arrived at the hotel at 1 AM and the check in process was very quick and efficient.||Room : Good size room for two people. The mattress was very comfortable as well.||Breakfast : Multiple choice of Veg, Non Veg & Desserts will suit most people.||Check Out : Quick and Efficent||Luggage Storage : A secure room is available and you are provided with a number to be used for collection.||I will definitely stay here again.||A few recommendations||Bed Room|The plug sockets in room 309 was located behind the bedside lamps & we had to pull ahead the lamps to access it. More sockets on the table will help.|A printout with the Channels on TV & the language will be useful as I went through the channels multiple times to find an english channel.|The pillows ar super soft. I would recommend having a choice of two pillows in the room for people who prefer harder pillows.||Bath Room|A soap holder in the shower will also help as you have to keep it on the floor and are in danger of slipping in the shower.|A couple of hooks to hold the bath towels will...

A few recommendations

Bed Room The plug sockets in my room was located behind the bedside lamps & we had to pull ahead the lamps to access it. More sockets on the table will help. A printout with the Channels on TV & the language will be useful as I went through the channels multiple times to find an English channel. The pillows are super soft. I would recommend having a choice of two pillows in the room for people who prefer harder pillows.

Bath Room A soap holder in the shower will also help as you have to keep it on the floor and are in danger of slipping in the shower. A couple of hooks to hold the bath towels will...
