Pension Zenit Prešov — Hotel in Prešov

We found Penzion Zenit on Booking.com and saw it was rated 9.7, so we took a chance and booked it for our vacation to Presov, Slovakia. What a FANTASTIC decision! It was immaculately clean and very stylishly furnished! Loved the bed pillows! It just opened in August 2018, so while its a renovated property, it feels brand new. We stayed in the standard apartment with a view, and it was large for Slovakia and very clean. They even furnished hand soap and body wash. There was no refrigerator in the room, but they brought a small one to me when I asked. They only have a few, however, so ask when you book if you need one to store medication. Its very small, so don't plan on putting a lot in it. Andrea, the manager, is amazing and completely manages the guest house of 9 rooms. There are only 4 parking spaces, so if you will be bringing your car, you need to reserve one in advance. The pictures of their breakfast bar are accurate and the food was delicious. Freshly ground coffee, too! You can see the old part of the building in the breakfast room, restored and displayed in a beautiful, artistic way. Loved the stone and the old beams! Pension Zenit is located at walking distance of Prešov Mesto railway station. The hotel was totally renovated in 2022 and offers 9 rooms over 2 floors. Furnishings and decoration provide a nice atmosphere. Reception & breakfast are open till 10:00. Service is friendly and helpful. In the evening you enter with your booking code. As soon as you pay by card, the box with your room-key opens.||||We had a small single room at the first floor. The adequately furnished room had desk & chair, TV, and an good single bed. We had a small bathroom with tiny washbasin, toilet & shower. Window can be opened but you have to face traffic noice from the nearby street. Good Wi-Fi. All was very clean.||||A good breakfast is served: eggs made to order, bread & toast, cold-cuts & cheese, butter & marmalade, orange juice, cereals, milk & yoghurt, tea & good coffee. This is an unbelievably unique place! A guesthouse, where the level is like in the best 5* hotels. Neat, clean rooms, cleaned daily. Daily change of towels and incredible sensitivity to the needs of guests. Beautiful smell in the rooms, where every detail is taken care of. The kindness of the owners and staff is captivating.
