Emerald Valley Apartments — Hotel in Bovec

Katarina has created an amazing place in Bovec. The house has been converted to just 5 apartments. We had a 1 bedroom apartment that sleeps 4 in 2 double beds. The apartment is not huge but has been designed to high standards with all mod-cons. There is a small kitchen with dishwasher, oven, stove, fridge. Dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid all provided. Plenty of decent sized towels. Good shower. Everything is super clean.||Outside there is a shared pool which is a good size and clean, and a lovely outside area with sunbeds and tables. There is also an outside kitchen with a fridge containing a supply of beer and a freezer with ice-creams (just help yourself for free). Kitchen has oils, spices, basics you can use. There's also a washing machine and tumble dryer you can use with washing powder provided. ||Some evenings, the fire pit is lit and marshmallows provided :)||Best of all is the local recommendations of where to go and what to do. There is a SUP you can borrow, picnic blankets etc. Everything you can think of or possibly need has been considered. Katarina is clearly proud of what she has created ans she should be. Emerald valley apartments are every traveler's wet dream, as they are a perfect combination of quality, functionality, aesthetic details and breathtaking views. But the most appreciated is their service! We received a very warm welcome, Katja took her time for each apartment individually and wrote a true poetry of suggestions that were better than if it came from the guide, as they were all adapted to our various wishes. Her warmth is not only shown through the conversation, but also through the apartments themselves and the little things that are not little, for example: if you arrive on a Saturday afternoon and the shops are no longer open, a stocked fridge is waiting for you so you don't end up hungry; a lovely random surprise in the morning with the smell of pancakes and local delicacies - just because they didn’t want to make it just for themselves; you need a mixer, it's there; forgot the spices for cooking, there... Every thoughtful detail makes you feel like the sheik's most popular wife! Kitsch nature, everything reachable with walking distance, great comfort and company. Best stay in Soča valley...

Stayed at start of August as a family of four with two children aged 8 and 10. The property is very well located in the (quiet) town centre with easy access to supermarket, restaurants, bars and activities.

The apartments are beautifully designed and detailed with lovely furniture, comfortable beds, fresh linen and a great kitchen with good utensils for cooking.

The outside area has a lovely cold water pool and an outside kitchen with complimentary drinks and snacks.

Katja ( forgive me if I spelt incorrectly) and her small team were excellent hosts and made sure we had everything we needed including a fresh breakfast served outdoors each morning.
