I’ve been very patient with everything and I do understand how difficult it is when it comes to stuff not working in the hotel as I’ve worked in hospitality for many years. I haven’t been able to use my tv since I got at the hotel due to signal issues. The reception staff were very helpful but they weren’t able to fix it since I arrived on March 11. At that moment no rooms were available to accommodate me with a working tv and better WiFi.
On March 14 I was moved to a different room with much better WiFi and a working tv. I was very appreciative because my son loves watching tv. With that being said I could finish most of my work. However this evening when I went to use the bathroom I came across and infested bathroom full of roaches. There are many hiding in the grooves of the sliding doors as well as in the shower holes. There are lots of maintenance work to be done also especially for the safety of kids and others.

Read moreI stayed from the 2nd October till the 19th. Me and my partner enjoyed out time here, the location is right in the heart of the mother city. There's so much to see and do in Cape Town and having this hotel right in the middle of it all is what we loved. Just step out the door, pick a street to walk down and see something new ... The hotel itself looked great, everything was well thought through regarding decor. Our room looked amazing, blacks, reds and whites made up for the colour scheme, and with high ceilings giving the room a grand look. Having an air conditioner unit made a big difference, very easy to use and made our sleep and stay more comfortable. Breakfast every morning shouldn't be missed out, you can enjoy a coffee, cup cake, juice and yogurt before the friendly staff (Oscar was our favorite, great cheerful guy) will take your order for a full English cooked well by the head chef ... In addition, their services are the worst I've encountered in my 30 years of global travel.||Second, one of the employees (Sami) advised customers that the kitchen will close at 6:00 o'clock. At 9:30-10:00 p.m., I arrived and saw that the kitchen was open and that there was food on one of the tables. He replied that it was the staff supper when questioned.||Thirdly, the hotel operates as a smokehouse every single day. All night, the music is obnoxious.
