East View Guesthouse — Hotel in Gauteng

I stayed two nights on my own do visit an embassy for a passport renewal. From the moment I arrived Lynette and Jan were amazing hosts. You felt like family more than a guest. My room was extremely spacious with a very comfortable bed and large soft towels. Great fast internet for free, cable TV and the most delicious breakfast. The family organised an Uber to take me to the mall and dropped and picked me up at the embassy and then the Gautrain. Nothing was too much problem. The neighbourhood is safe and a 10 min walk to a shopping centre. Thanks so much you made my stay...

My mom and I were stuck in Pretoria and had to stay the night. I quickly checked Trip Advisor for a decent place as we have had pretty bad experiences before. I found East View and the amazing reviews and three hours later our lift dropped us off at the gate, booking confirmed and room ready. Lynette and Jan were absolutely amazing and we felt so at home the moment we walked in. The rooms were extremely comfortable with everything you need and the food... it was so nice to have a home cooked meal!! Lynette's number will definitely be on speed dial...

Lynette and Jan were amazing! Their home, guesthouse and grounds are beautiful...so well kept! We stayed 5 nts and our sister in another room for 3. At one point, I became ill w/a sore throat and Lynette made me the most delicious homemade chicken soup dinner brought to my room!! Such a lovely family.
