This is my second time here. The first time, I am came in by mistake at night. But today I had to come in to experience that heritage again. I was welcomed with a friendly smile by Nare and they service went amazing feom there😊😊😊😊

I decided to take a chance and start with the creamy livers and Dampling 🤤🤤🤤🤤 And wow the taste was amazing🤯🤯🤯🤯 I suspented that maybe I was very hungry, so I went on to try their Lamb Curry and that was also a ball park score.

I love their food and ambiences. The soft jazz playing in the background made the moment more amazing, I was eating alone and still had the most amazing fun there was 💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽

I can't wait to come back to enjoy more from there menu. I had to take the carrot to go, because I was full from all the amazing food🔥🔥🔥🔥 And I am ussually not that take away guy.

I had a very disappointing experience on Tuesday. I ordered oxtail with rice and mash, but what I received looked and tasted like beef instead. When I raised my concern, the waiter insisted it was oxtail, and I didn’t want to go back and forth with him, so I left it. The portion size was small for the price, and the food tasted horrible. I took some home, but it smelled off the next day even though it was refrigerated, so I had to throw it away. When I called the restaurant to give feedback, the manager was dismissive and made classist comments, saying they don’t deal with students and have a different target market. Booked here for our monthly book club meeting and whilst our waitress was nice and pleasant, the food did NOT meet our expectations. I ordered the 2x chicken breast with butternut and spinach. The one fillet of breast that WAS HALVED was the driest piece of meat I’ve ever had in my life. How do you get chicken breast wrong? My friend had lamb stew, which arrived cold and bland. My other friend had ox liver stew which was also freezing - in winter?? We asked our food be microwaved. Don’t get me started on the fries. The salad that costs R95 had wilted lettuce, lots of onions.. Awoa guys! Unfortunately I won’t be returning. This is the second time I’ve been to this venue and left disappointed....
