Hands On Retreat — Hotel in Gauteng

I decided to take my fiance T.Visagie here for his birthday, hoping that the place would meet the standard expected. And disappointed I was.

The place looks like an old age home from the moment you enter. The atmosphere was dull and boring. The couches in the reception room look soo old, I opted to stand, the discomfort was unbearable. The gowns we were expected to change into before the massages were old n filthy...it was a disgrace to expect guests to wear those..

Thanks to Khanyisa and Monica's outstanding service, our stay was made worthwhile. We were moved to a more spacious room, with more privacy. The massage was good 7/10. And the breakfast was great.

The place needs a major upgrade and the old furniture needs to go. I would not recommend this place.

Khanyisa is definitely an asset, she took time to ensure we left the place happy.

Absolute stunning retreat, almost in the heart of Jo'Zies. Stunning service, atmosphere and beautiful garden, the perfect place to unwind from the city life. Unpack the pre-ordered picnic basket, filled with delicious treats, under the lushes green trees and enjoy a romantic afternoon in this beautiful garden. Full body massage was great! Thank you, we really enjoyed the special treat to relax and sleep over. It was a great treat for us as a couple. Just want to make a suggestion, try and not come to knock for any questions like what time will you be up for breakfast this could have been asked on the form we filled out when we arrived or after the treatments before check in when we did the review. Other then that everything was perfect and we really enjoyed the day out...
