The pizza base was spot on! (I do not know of any place in the Gauteng area that gets the pizza base done as one would find it in Naples, Italy) No burnt-charred pieces on the base that are inedible (which some other pizza places seem to think is "artistic" to do). We had the Holtini and Siyani pizza; they were both very pleasant. The Holtini had a bit too much mushroom for my liking/not evenly spread either. Thus, I feel the Siyani won. The Sayani has chilli but is not too hot, which is better for most. I would say though that the Margherita would be an excellent choice/equally as satisfying, especially if you ask for some parmigiano on the side- that's if you weren't in the mood to spend R170 or so on a pizza. Ambience was relaxed, also increased by the little garden and fresh flowers on the tables, decor is well chosen and the restaurant has an elevated dining experience feel due to the wine glasses on all the tables. *Suggestion* I would maybe request the kitchen to cut the coppa ham, on the Holtini pizza, into 4 smaller pieces maybe so that it is distributed evenly on the pizza slice; at the moment the whole piece of meat goes into your mouth in the first bite and none left for the rest of the piece. *Suggestion* would be really nice for more non-alcoholic drink options, maybe something like Oran Soda/Aranciata or San Pellegrino or Crodino. *Would be nice* for a little more cheese.

Avoid. We made the mistake of sitting on an outside table to enjoy the beautiful evening. First off, our table had holes in it and the one bench had a completely broken off plank. The service was poor. The menu is pathetic, there is about 10 dishes at most to choose from and all are overpriced. The quality of the actual food is alright but took very long just to prepare 2 pizzas and DEFINITELY not good value for money. Table and benches were infested with ants which got into all our clothes. Kids running around and screaming and throwing sand by other customer’s tables. I’m sorry but this place is the definition of overrated. As I returned to my car after this disappointing experience, I saw that there’s a few other restaurants in walking distance that are priced correctly and look to have a much more professional and comfortable atmosphere. Will not be returning nor recommend this place to anyone.

Always a treat coming here! If you’re not coming here to enjoy the pizza, you’re missing out on something truly special. The pizzas are consistently beautifully made with an amazing crusty base that has just the right texture. Every bite is a perfect blend of flavours, and you can tell the ingredients are fresh and high-quality. This is an amazing place to catch up with good friends or impress your date. The ambience is warm and inviting, making it perfect for any occasion. The staff are always friendly and attentive, ensuring that your dining experience is top-notch. I highly recommend this place for anyone who loves great pizza and a fantastic dining atmosphere. You won’t be disappointed!

Came highly recommended from friends. Beautiful setting in the evening. Unfortunately we did not enjoy our pizza. Think its more authentic and we prefer seem to prefer "westernized" pizza i guess, to give them the benefit of the doubt.

In our opinion, the pizza was bland and shy of toppings, one base was also very soggy. Prices were also high for what we recieved. Id expect a far better effort on a small menu. Do fewer dishes well is the concept, but it didnt work.

Unfortunately, a double wammy, service was not great either. It was a quiet evening however waitor was missing in action for a long while. Plates sat on the table for 30min after the meal without any attention, we called another patron to assist.

For us personally, plently of better competition in jhb especially at that price range. Seems like lots do enjoy this style of pizza, so best of luck...
