I was vegetarian for 6 years so I know the struggle of finding good veggie options at restaurants 😅 Fresh Earth 💓 is a fully vegetarian restaurant with great options, each packed with so much flavour! They also have a food store attached with a bakery and great whole ingredients! 🥐 We had the Thai ‘Chicken’ & Quinoa salad bowl and the Falafel North African burger! 🥗: 9/10 🍔: 10/10 (rated by a red meat loving guy) #foodtok #lunchspot #johannesburg #dezember #girlssupportgirls #tiktoksouthafrica #SAMA28 #fyp

Food is tasty, and appears to have gotten better. Some interesting combinations, and recent additions to the menu. Can be seen to be on the pricey side which is fine, but sometimes portions are sparse. Particularly something like the toast. One slice is just not enough. The service is not good at all, the numerous times I have been there. No two ways about it. Not just at my table, but with neighbouring patrons can see the lack of interest shown by the waiters, even in the early mornings / beginning of the day. So this is a major development area for them. [update] their service appears to have improved. Not quite there, but strides have been made. Pleasant environment as dogs are also allowed. Can be a bit noisy if it gets full, [update] this is purely from the set up of the establishment and not patrons or staff. Toilet facilities appear to be out of service due to water shortage, but at least have facilities for washing of hands. The empty sanitisers aren’t helping much. Can suggest more tea options, would expect a bit more variety considering the nature of the store. [update] suggestions include mint, ginger and lemon tea. Perhaps even hibiscus. Would be a definite hit.

I sat eating my food whilst reading the reviews of this place. From my personal experience, Fresh Earth is good. I was certainly pleased when I requested something specific that wasn't on the menu. The staff seem a bit funky, but my server was great! (I do think that some of the waiters require more training to pick up on cues for when patrons require assistance, I did struggle with getting the attention of a waiter when I was ready to leave) She was however a tiny bit confused when I asked questions relating to the sauce. I think product knowledge is essential in a food health bar such as Fresh Earth. Lots of other reviewers do seem a bit excessive regarding pricing and all that, and I sadly have to agree, my meal and drink came to R200 and it was not something that's WORTH R200. I would say the food is great, the atmosphere is bearable with noise cancelling headphones, but again it's an open kitchen so you can't complain if you're sitting inside, just go outside if you don't like noise. I personally wouldn't sit down here again and eat for various other reasons (introvert problems) but I would recommend it if you're near Delta Park and in need of something to eat.

It was my first time going there so you walk in and there’s a shop first, walked all the way to the back trying to find the restaurant, I asked two different employees along the way how to get to the restaurant and they both didn’t give clear instructions, they both told me to go to the back but were too busy with other things to provide clear directions. I got to the restaurant part, waited to be seated but the staff just kept passing me by until I asked one of the waitresses if I can just sit anywhere? She said yes and walked past as well. So I found an empty table next to the counter, where all waiters go to add orders on the system. I sat there close to 5min, mind you, they keep coming infront of where I was seated to add orders, but no one came to assist me, I had to call one of them to assist me. I placed my order (Grilled Cheese sandwich and fries). I waited more than an hour for a cheese sandwich 😭 I eventually asked one of the waitresses how long it takes to make a sandwich and she went to check for me and came back to say it was almost ready. I waited a few minutes and it came, she apologised and said it takes a while back at the kitchen and I asked if it really takes more than an hour for a cheese sandwich? She replied that there were other orders before mine. The sandwich was okay, but service was terrible from the minute I entered the door till I left. I didn’t even know who was actually assisting me because different people came when I called them and different people came to serve the drinks and food. They didn’t come to check if I needed anything throughout, like nothing was positive. Worse part is it wasn’t even that busy. Never going back and wouldn’t recommend the place...

I just had a horrible experience and am still in shock and upset. They have a huge sign above the fresh bread section saying “FREEZER STOCK 15% OFF”. I have been deceived by these Fresh Earth signs in the past so I double checked now. I asked the lady if this is correct and she CONFIRMED. I proceeded to the counter and swiped my loyalty card, and the 15% discount was not applied. She called her superior to see was was going on, and she proceeded to tell me that the 15% off is for freezer stock, not fresh bread. Ummmm…the sign was ABOVE the fresh bread, deceiving customers into believing that this is defrosted freezer stock on special. Are you guys aware that false advertising is fraud and a criminal offense? This lady then called ANOTHER manager who was the rudest, most incompetent man I have encountered in a long time. He just stared at me like a deer in headlights and said “I don’t know why the other lady told you it was 15% off”. No apology for the confusion. He looked like I was just inconveniencing him. I have been loyal to Fresh Earth for almost a decade but this experience is absolutely unacceptable and appalling. Why the hell do you guys have a massive sign above the bread promising 15% off? It’s false advertising. It’s fraud to dupe people into buying more. I am absolutely disgusted at not only the false advertising, but the way I was treated as a customer with zero respect or apology. They eventually took the 15% off after I insisted, but this behavior is...

My first time here, and I did not have a good experience at all, based solely on service.

I was alone and, after being told that most of the tables were reserved, was haphazardly seated at one in a little corner. Then I asked for the Matcha Frappe, to which I was told that you were out of Matcha. Eventually, when I ordered the Almond Butter Smoothie (which was good, by the way) I was told that my table (to which, as mentioned before, I was haphazardly sent to anyway) had been previously reserved for 1pm - I had been seated there at 12h00. The waiter advised me to move to the table next to mine once that party had left.

I arrived at your restaurant planning to spend a few hours there - reading a book, writing in my journal, and having lunch. Needless to say, this experience left me feeling uncomfortable and out of place.

My waiter, Nervious, was a lovely person, and he did his best, but the general treatment I received was far below par. I left having paid nothing more than the price of the smoothie - R55.

Maybe I could excuse the poor service based on the fact that it was the lunch hours. However, a few tables were unreserved, and I did notice bigger parties receiving...
