I went there for dinner with my friend. We ordered: • Chicken Teppanyaki Bowl with egg fried rice and Teppanyaki sauce • Bang Bang Shrimp Roll • Sunset Roll • Calamari with rice noodles in Spicy Nut Style • Nutella Crepe

Positives: The Chicken Bowl was very good. The sauce was delicious and paired well with all the ingredients. The chicken wasn't as tender as expected but the dish was still highly enjoyable. Their sushi were made and presented well. The Sunset Roll had great textures while the Bang Bang Shrimp Roll came with delicious sauces. The rice was well-cooked and the salmon was fresh. Very tender calamari and the rice noodles were cooked perfectly. We had an attentive waitress who gave us a good service.

Negatives: The "Tempura Prawn" in their sushi isn't made fresh but rather made in bulk prior and left in a bowl. They had no crunch nor flavour to them and the prawns tasted tough. The rice noodles in Spicy Nut Style had good textures but was lacking in flavour. It wasn't spicy and needed something more to elevate its taste. The Nutella Crepe was surprisingly dry. It was quite basic and overpriced. It could use some fruit or ice cream. Perhaps even something like citrus zest to cut the sweetness of the Nutella.

Overall, this restaurant was enjoyable. You pay premium prices for elevated dishes. I would recommend a different method (other than bulk prepping) for making tempura prawns though; fry them fresh for any orders so they won't get tough/stale while adding another level of texture to a dish.

Note: they have a great lunch special. See last...

You need to go here! I’ve been going to this restaurant for years, and honestly, every visit just gets better and better. I popped in for lunch today, and it was nothing short of phenomenal. One thing I absolutely love is that the restaurant has expanded — there’s now plenty of space for people to sit comfortably with different sections to choose from, depending on the vibe you're going for. The menu is fantastic!

It has such a wide variety of amazing options to suit every taste. I tried a special they were offering — 8 pieces of sushi (california salmon rolls) served with 3 spinach and cream cheese dim sum. It was the perfect combination. My partner and his friend orderedthe teppanyaki special, and they really enjoyed it too! This still came with chicken pot stickers. I also ordered an extra plain fried rice which was great on its own!

Another thing I really appreciate is the little touch of hospitality — the restaurant offers complimentary small Italian kisses at the end of the meal. It’s such a sweet gesture that makes the whole experience even more special.

We also couldn’t resist dessert and decided to share the chocolate bubble. It was not only delicious but also so aesthetic! The bubble smoke that came with it added to the entertainment, which we all enjoyed. The waiters and managers also pop in to check on you to see how you're doing throughout.

I absolutely love this place. The food, the atmosphere, and the service is always great. I’ll definitely keep coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great...

I have somewhat mixed experience what this restaurant. It used to be my wife and my favorite teppanyaki place. We would typically sit down and order with sushi and some of their delicious pot stickers and wine. The flavor profile on their teppanyaki used to be awesome and became a staple for the wife and I once a week. This all change about 3 months ago when I collected an order of teppanyaki and was totally disappointed. Food lacked flavour, colour profile was non-existent. The teppanyaki flavoring was completely watered down. It was bottom line not edible and ended up in the thrash. I raised the concern with the owner who apologized and provided a voucher to allow us to revisit the experience. Well today I decided to make use of that voucher and ordered 2 x teppanyaki chicken with egg fried rice and stir fry vegetables - circa R450 and restaurant was kind enough to honor the R300 voucher. So minimal cost on our side. That said, the experience was no better than previous. Food lacked any flavour and chicken was rubbery. We were unable to finish the meal. They probably making use of new suppliers (chicken and sauce) or have a new chef in place... or both. I was really hopeful that the experience was an improvement from previous and we could start frequenting them again but unfortunately, I am going to have to move on and find another place. I can't fault the restaurant for trying to retain me as a customer but something has fundamentally changed in their food preparation and the taste does not...
